Mega Man Legacy Collection is a celebration of the 8-bit history of Capcom’s iconic Blue Bomber. Featuring faithful reproductions of the series’ origins with the original six Mega Man games, the Legacy Collection will remind long-time fans and introduce newcomers to what made Mega Man such a popular and iconic character. Mega Man Legacy Collection will feature all six games and much more.
In addition to the six Mega Man games, Mega Man Legacy Collection features new ways to experience the classic games with the Museum Mode and new Challenge Mode. Challenge Mode remixes gameplay segments from all six games, with plenty of scaling difficulty objectives for experienced players to conquer yet serving as a good starting point for new players, too. Museum Mode contains a comprehensive collection of history, high-res art and original concept pieces – a mega treat for any fan of Mega Man and video game history.

Mega Man Legacy Collection is a collection of the first six Mega Man games remade on the PS4. The former Mega Man Anniversary collection may have included all eight of the NES and SNES games in the original Mega Man series (not including Mega Man and Bass) as well as two additional and more obscure titles but they were not perfect versions of those games, the Legacy collection gives us perfect reactions of all six NES titles, NES hardware limitations included, and displays everything in 1080 resolution. In addition to the games you are able to listen to each game's soundtrack, look at art, and read information about each enemy and character in the games. Two new features include the ability to make a save state, something that will likely be a welcome edition for people struggling to complete the games, and a challenge mode which can put you in different areas from different games with one life and a timer for leaderboards. Worth playing if you want to experience these titles again or for the first time.
