Old School

Mortal Kombat, if You're a gamer, you heard of this series. If not, chances are you heard that this will turn you into a serial killer. In reality, this is one of those games, that got popular, for the same reasons, as any other game: it's high quality, and the fact, that you could play it with your friends. Recent editions introduced online multiplayer to the game, where if you want to make sure you don't lag, you have to dumb down the graphics. Well...this is one way of doing it! :) The first 3 game in the series almost look cute compared to today. The first have 7(!) playable characters! By the third game however, the roster becomes quite huge, and to be honest, the best characters are introduced in this trilogy. The finishing moves are sometimes cartoonishly violent, and the combos are easy to learn, but hard to really master. Also, since you get all, you don't have to use cheats to play as Reptile, smoke, or Noob Saibot, you can just select them :)

Best fighting classic games

MK is the best series in fighting games! In this pack, you can experience the cheese beginnings of the series, and be surprised if you1ve only known the new versions. Seriously, your jaw will fall once you finish the first with raiden! I don't actually think that this series needs much introduction. The port itself is pretty great, it ran on all of my systems without a problem. Even on Win10! The moves seem a little more fluid then i used to, but then, i used to play these on a SNES, so it might be cause of that. Great game for any party, or just if you have an hour to kill, greatly recommended.

All time classics!

Mortal Kombat series were one of the titles that revolutionized the fighting games market. After Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat was something fresh as digitized characters were a novelty at that point and so did the game has taken the market by storm. This collection contains all the classic parts including my all time favorite MK3. Worth to check how we play in 90s.

Prepare to die in nostalgia

This arcade packet serves very first 3 Mortal Kombats. While playing now MK1 or 2 isn't fun at all, especially because of insane level of difficulty at the end of arcade ladder and impossible combatants from standard roster and bosses like Goro/Shangtsung. Multiplayer is empty. But for your own entertainment or playing with friend it's of course very very fun even with lack of a combos in those games, single hits or special attack... It's not very impressive, too flat gameplay, even Street fighter II was better. BUT WE HAVE ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT 3 ON THE DECK! It's so large improvement that it's hard to describe, you should just check this out for your own. Graphic is very huge improvement, new mechanics, better mechanics wich means combos, linking special attacks with normals. Best fighting game in history before MK9 showed up. A lot of combatants, everyone should find at least few favorite characters to finish an opponent with. Smooth beautiful animations of every character attack, each one is unique. Dozen fatalities, deep gameplay, what's more need to be done to drown yourself with that fantastic world of ultimate Mortal Kombat 3? Warning, while launching UMK3 you can completely lose track of time. Your soul can belong to Morta Kombat after very first launch. Multiplayer in UMK3 is alive, you can always play with random people, friends, or add yourself to steam group of Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection to have certainty someone is playing now cause there are moments that multiplayer can be empty, especially in work/school time for some regions. So in summary... Fight him, beat him, finish him, enjoy!

For diehard MK fans

This game really brings back memories of when I played MK when I was little. However, the game is small but don't underestimate it, it really goes back to its foundations. I wouldn't recommend this to a player just starting out in the MK series because of right now, MK 9 or the upcoming MK X would be a better choice for them as they would be looking for a more current game. But if you've played MK for years and just want to go back to its retro state, then you will enjoy this game. Not really competitive, but just a game for friends to play around with and having fun with your favorite MK characters.
