Tried this and the 1-pack. So 6 games, plus 2 free ones from 2 separate purchases. Total of 8 games, no repeats, but all cheap indie games on steam I have never heard of. Looked at all of them and they all generally have negative reviews on steam. Some people reported getting Battlefield 1 or Overwatch, which I personally don't believe they did, but who knows. If there's a chance of actually getting a AAA title, then for $4 it's worth a shot. In total, I spent $4.50 and got 8 games I will probably never play. There's a chance this could pay off, but I bet the chances of that are very slim and unlikely, if not completely false. So take that as you will and give it a shot. At the end of the day, it's only a few bucks, and if you do get a AAA title then it would be totally worth it.
Was looking around for some better deals than what "other platforms" are offering during their annual Winter Sale and ran across the Mystery Deals here on GMG. Decided I didn't want to take too much of a risk and went with the 5-Pack that's currently on sale for $3.99 (December 22, 2016) Also received Spec Ops: The Line as a "free gift" with the purchase. So, all things considered, I ended up with $61 (retail) worth of games. While they're not all AAA titles, they do look like interesting games. Not a bad deal for the current price.
I bought the mystery bundle with some extra cash lying around and for what it's worth it isn't all that bad. I got 5 five games I have never heard of before but have already tried out 2 of them and they're pretty decent. Sure I got none of the better indie titles or a AAA game mentioned in other reviews but collectively my 5 games were worth around $40 so for what they're actually worth they are good and the fact that I paid only $4 makes it that much better. So if you have some extra money lying around or some GMG credit buy a bundle and try your luck it'll probably be worth it.
Got two of these solely because I had some extra cash on a gift card...and not one was worth more than $10 list price. A bunch of games that were mostly $4.99 and below list, and on sale for $1. Would never had bought any of them, but for the sale price of $2 for 5, I guess I'll try a few. No sign of any of the more prominent indie or AAA games mentioned from other reviews, but not surprised. If you like some of the cheaper indie games from time to time, like Clikr, or Tidalis, etc, I guess it would be well worth it. If not, maybe you can give the codes to someone else and hope you get lucky.
