Insurgency

Take to the streets for intense close quarters combat, where a team's survival depends upon securing crucial strongholds and destroying enemy supply in this multiplayer and cooperative Source Engine based experience. The follow-up game to the award-winning Source mod, Insurgency is highly competitive and unforgivingly lethal, striking a balance between one-life gameplay and prolonged action.

Day of Infamy

Day of Infamy takes you to the battlegrounds of Southern and Western Europe during World War II. There are 10 maps, ranging from war-torn cities to farm villages, fortified beachheads and snow-covered forests. Whether you are fighting for the U.S. Army, Commonwealth Forces or the German Wehrmacht, there is a vast arsenal of over 70 historical weapons and attachments.

Day of Infamy + Insurgency

fl4M3d_inFern0r

Day of Infamy got my attention long before it was even released at Steam. With Insurgency, on the other hand, I was a bit late to the party. One thing is for sure, they know how to steal the show. Insurgency got realism, and so does Day of Infamy. Each game is unique, but both are really fun. A few words to say: Day of Infamy is still updated, still very much active at Multiplayer (though you can play solo too, with bots). Great scenery, real places, nice variery of WWII guns & sounds, Modes are one of the highlights of it. Without a doubt, it's a noteworthy WWII title to look out for. Insurgency makes you think, lets you be more tactical at times, you feel like your life depends on how you play, haha. Stunning gameplay and features, it's one hell of a game that deserves a lot of attention as well (no worries, Multiplayer is very much active as well). What could go wrong with these two games? Absolutely nothing. A nice price for both games, that will give you a lot of hours of game time, are still supported and have a big fan base, and you will enjoy them for sure. Go get it!

Battles Across Time

baconiscrispy

Although the title doesn't make it clear, the New World Collection contains two games - Insurgency and Day of Infamy. Both games are military-themed, Day of Infamy based in World War II whereas Insurgency is a modern shooter. Nonetheless, both games are very similar in that they are unforgiving hardcore shooters. I've only just started playing Day of Infamy and I've been having a blast with it, but I've clocked enough hours in Insurgency to tell you that it's one of the most realistic shooters on the market. A handful of bullets will spell your demise, and you have to have tight co-operation with your team if you want to survive and win a game. If you're a fan of shooters but want a more challenging experience, then this pack will give you what you're looking for.
