I just want to comment on how this game brings together some of the better features of both RPGs and rogue-likes, and turns it into this charming game. The graphics and music are all spot on, and this will likely appeal to the older crowd, washing them with a wave of nostalgia. This game is a good nod to the old classics, and brings that whole feel of the genre to our more modern times, while making sure nothing they intended was lost in translation. The best test for this though is simply by playing it. And I would highly recommend you do so.
Pixel Heroes Byte and Magic is a simple RPG kind of game, which is very good and very funny. The game features a randomized world that you can explore and fight enemies that can give you points to unlock new classes of heroes with different skills to play around with. The game is very simplistic, but really good to play, especially for its kind. Anyway, I think the developers should add new things to it to get even better than it already is. I would recommend this to all the RPG fans out there and mainly to people who enjoy this kind of game, which is not extremelly detailed visually. Overall, great work from the developers!
Pixel Heroes - Byte and Magic is a nostalgic journey into the old world of the role playing games of the first golden age of the genre. But, at the same time, Pixel Heroes - Byte and Magic is a fresh adventure in a random world, every time full of new quests, heroes, weapons, objects, The game bases its gameplay on a difficult rogue like setting, it's very grindy and you have to have patience to beat it. The graphic aspect is delicious but only if you like the so called 'pixel art'; otherwise you could difficulty appreciate its style. Plus, Pixel Heroes - Byte and Magic has lots of humor and you can meet some characters that are really, really funny: in general, the game offers good time and the randomly generated stories really helps the extend this type of experience. So, if you are not afraid with the pixel aspect, Pixel Heroes - Byte and Magic could be a very unexpected surprise. Thumbs up!
