Reviews for Purgatory

Feels unfinished and needs more work

The biggest problem I have with the game is the overall alpha level feel and polish. There are very few assets in the game and there are no movement or attack animations. I found the game too easy though I have not gotten too far yet. Every part of the game feels as if it requires more work put into it. Even though this is early access and one should expect it to be like this, I feel that it shouldnt feel as if work has just begun on it. Beyond these gripes, the game plays like a tactical rpg akin to fire emblem except that it has pixel art and undead vs undead army combat. The troop skill trees are easy to follow but the issues said from before plague the rest of the game. However, there is a decent amount of narrative content and it?s inexpensive and fun. The game can only get better in the future.
