I liked Puzzle Quest a lot when I played it on PSP and since then, I've moved onto all these match 3 RPG hybrids, buying each and every one because I really enjoy them. This one has a sideways grid instead of the usual vertical one. You still have to match 3 to cause damage to your opponent, but it just isn't as deep or fun as Puzzle Quest was and there isn't as much content. The screens show exactly what you get with this game. Choose a place on the world map, then match 3 against an AI controlled opponent. Matching colored blocks builds up your abilities which you then unleash to gain an advantage or cause damage to your opponent. The mini games aren't anything special, just more matching as that's what these games are all about. It's not a hard game, and it won't last you anywhere near as long as the Puzzle Quest games do, but for a cheap price, this game is easy to recommend for anyone who wants something different from the usual shooting and fighting.
