A great addition but only if you like Race 07

I made the mistake of buying this because I needed something to replace Granturismo when i was moving over to the pc side of things. This isnt it however it did with the help of Race 07 get me into the racing sim community, this game is hard and you will have to be on point if you wish to survive because if you let down that guard for even a second it will backhand you in the face and you will wake up days later wondering what just happened, trust me it can be evil at times. You do also need a wheel, one with force feedback of course and the best cheap one costs £100 so you need to consider that, its possible with a keyboard and or a controller however you will be dampening your potential skill a lot. Also if you didnt know then this is basically a massive addition to Race 07, it ties into that game which is nice if you like race 07 however it also comes with the issues of race 07 and the graphics will not be too nice on the eyes, some shader additions slightly help but not too much which is a shame. Overall it can provide some fun but its aging, GTR 2 will always be the better sibling and know Rfactor 2 and Assetto corsa are taking over.

For a specific crowd

As a fan of the Need for Speed and Burnout series, this game was not for me. What I should have realized is that this game is much more of a simulator. This means that the races will be on official regulated tracks. Basically, it is not like most Need for Speed games where youre driving down the highway at 150 miles per hour, but instead you are on a walled-off or coned-off track. In all, this was a nice game, with a good sense of speed, decent graphics, and nice handling, but it was not what I was looking for.
