Game description

"It's downright gorgeous and a total blast to play alone or with friends. A truly realized vision at the top of its genre, Rayman Origins is an extravaganza with plenty of action to keep it fresh from start to finish and beyond." - IGN.com

"Rayman Origins is a wonderful 2D platformer whose goofy charm will have you smiling all the way through." - Gamespot.com

The Glade of Dreams is up in arms again!

This idyllic world, where there is usually little more to do than eat, sleep, play (and enjoy a friendly fray or two among friends), is up to its eyeballs in trouble.

It seems Rayman and his heroic gang of hilarious misfits has kicked off a war with just a little snoring! Their nightmarish neighbors from the Land of the Livid Dead don’t seem to share the same taste in music and have come to crash the party!

Never ones to shy away from a challenge, Rayman and his friends are more than happy to knock these nasty killjoys back to oblivion, especially since it involves saving nymphs, making mischief, and earning fantastic new powers to make even more mischief. And this won’t be the first time! As it turns out, the funloving Creator of the Glade, known as Bubble Dreamer, is a highly sensitive being whose every mood impacts the Glade for good or bad¦ Rayman has had to beat back the creatures of Bubble Dreamer’s nightmares before, and that’s what he, Globox, and the crafty Teensy casters are going to do again before the fabric of the Glade falls to pieces and their entire world fades like a bad dream.

Such a nice platformer!

An absolutely fantastic platformer! If you want to play a platformer then play Rayman. It is fantastic. Just like the original, but it seems they took some tips from Donkey Kong Country in terms of fluid game play. Controls are tight and responsive, the levels are great and varied even tho first few are kind uninteresting (but to be honest they are there to ease the player into the game). What truly makes this game shine is the laughs you can get when sitting down with friends and trying to pass the game together as a 4 man team.

Definitely a big improvement to the Rayman series

I love this frickin game but sometimes controlling with the keyboard gets clumsy and my fingers start to hurt cause I start pressing like an idiot in hope that it will make a difference so I recommend using a gamepad and rebinding all keys. The feeling of Rayman is amazing, exactly the same like the first Rayman I played on PS1 but with better graphics. His amazing hands are still here and the feeling of punching bastards is very satisfying The music and effects are amazing and I often stop playing and listen to the music just cause its great. Failing and dying can get frustrating but its all a part of the game. Amazing graphics, very smooth and fast paced gameplay, funny childish dialogue, great music and effects, a lot of different stages and various enemies, multiplayer support up to 4 players non-dependent of each other. I really can't think of anything worth mentioning other than the minor keyboard issues. As a 2D platformer this game fully delivers and you have everything that you can possibly want from it. Despite the minor issues with the keyboard I believe everyone can enjoy this game. It costs 20 bucks and compared to the fun you can have the price is very rational.

Better than Legends

I don't know, despite a lot of it being similar, there was something about this game that I liked better than Legends. I know the price is about $10 cheaper which is a nice thing, though that isn't entirely it. The visuals are awesome and controls are tight, and it provides a decent enough challenge. I would say I do highly recommend this one, especially if you get it on sale.

Good old Rayman is finally back.

It took Ubisoft too many years to get back to original form but it was worth to wait as this game is 2D masterpiece, Rayman older player know and love is back. It's a fanservice in the purest form, and everyone who wants to try a good challenging platformer must try this game out.

If you like Mario games on Nintendo, you'll love this

You are gathering "golden fly" thingy in this game, and you also can glide, swim, etc. Some levels - especially near the end - are having insanely crazy difficulties. But these levels are rewarding once you have mastered it and get full electoons. Its great that the dev decided to go back to 2d platformer, since its what rayman is all about. Fun levels, and great level design, i must say that this game is great
