Reviews for RC Cars

One of the best old-school racing games

I've never had so much fun in a racing game as in RC Cars. I used to play it for days, maybe weeks, and never got tired of it - and that was just the demo. The graphics are pretty good (for a 2002 game), although back then they were not so important as the gameplay. And here comes the best thing about it - the gameplay was really entertaining. You can play to win the race or just wander around on the track to interrupt the people who are walking there, or chase some birds, or just try to find some hidden passages in the track that can be used as shortcuts. Spoiler alert: if you make a human angry enough he will take the car and throw it in the sea.. There are several cars, which you can customize - by changing color or by upgrading the engine/adding boost, etc. The music is awesome - it's cheerful and has a fast tempo that keeps you going. You can also play with a friend in split-screen (something that I miss in modern games). I definitely recommend this game if you want to have some fun and don't care so much about the graphics.

Old-style car game

RC Cars is a racing game which focuses on this specific kind of toys ; coming with 12 different models and quite a bit of tracks, it provides a challenging experience for the lovers of the genre. Somehow, it resembles Re-Volt, only this one is a bit more realistic. The graphics are not anywhere near as an nowadays' game, but for the nostalgic people they are just ok :)
