Resident Evil Revelations 2 follows two interwoven stories of terror across 4 episodes of intense survival horror.
Episode Two: Contemplation
Having escaped the detention facility, Claire and Moira join up with other Terra Save members, only to learn they are infected with a deadly virus. Can the group overcome desperation and fear to escape the island alive?
Meanwhile, half a year later, Barry must rely on Natalia's memory to track down his missing daughter, and hope beyond hope that he is not too late.
*Additional Raid Mode characters and stages included.
*Episode One required to play.
As you know, Episode 2 is called 'Contemplation' and its action has become much more promising. The story of Claire and Moira have a good upswing so I would not be happy at all with all its shortcomings. In this campaign, you will encounter with one of the first boss of the entire episode that will appear. In this episode, the most outrageous thing about me, it's your Al enemy and especially your companions. These companions both reduce the quality of the gameplay and eliminate the player's connection with the game world. In general, Episode II appears much better and more fun than the first episode, The second episode, "Resident Evil: Revelations 2", has taken a big step towards the gameplay and breathtaking battles against the first part of the series. The Claire campaign is awesome, and its only problems is game's Al that have prevented it from becoming a great work. On the other hand, the Barry campaign is tedious, except for the relationship between Natalia and Barry, as well as its ending interaction. I expect episode 3 must be more sophisticated and intuitive.
Like in the previous episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2, we get to play duos of characters. Claire and Barry are both skilled with firearms while their partners, Moira and Natalia, have to find items and explore the areas. In this episode, Capcom offers a great atmosphere and new interesting bits of information about the story. Furthermore, the weapons and the new enemies keep everything fun while maintaining the survival horror aspects. However, the enemies’ AI can be dumb at times (With horrible pathfinding...). That’s quite surprising since your partner’s AI is good. This episode also adds new elements to the RAID Mode. If Capcom keeps up the good work, this might become one of the best optional modes in the franchise’s history. Resident Evil Revelations 2 episode 2 is great. Hopefully Capcom won’t let us down with the remaining parts of the game.
