If you ignore the price, it's a well made DLC. It takes about 20 minutes to finish. Repeatable but you will probably play it 2 or 3 times max just for the achievements, weapons and outfits. There is no point playing it multiple times for the score because the leaderboard is hacked. There are people with a billion kills.
Zombies reach everything, and Tomb Raider is not an exception. Well, this DLC would have worked the same way if it just featured the standard enemies from the original base game, but it is ok. This DLC is just a game mode where you have to score points to get higher than your friends in the leaderboards. It is more fun than all that, since it is actually a little campaign where you have to sneak into a facility to deactivate some power stations. Have you played Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes? Well, this DLC features those awesome game mechanics since you will have to deactivate the stations in different ways, depending on what you have in front of you. That's actually the only good thing about this DLC, but it is a good feature. Worth it? Well, I guess so even though it is too short, but try to get it on sale.
Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch was an excellent piece of DLC that only had a few shortcomings, one of which was its length. Cold Darkness Awakened sadly does not improve this and in fact is a disappointment compared to Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch. Cold Darkness Awakened takes place in a small closed off area that is filled with what can only be described as rage virus zombies with bad eyesight. The focus of the game is stealth, meaning that if you suck at the bow you will have a lot of difficulty with this DLC. There is no story to speak of in this DLC and the horror atmosphere that Baba Yaga created is gone. It is replaced by a tense atmosphere, but tense is not the same as scary. After playing the rest of the game and the Baba Yaga DLC, Cold Darkness Awakened is a disappointment. If you buy this DLC, play it before Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch, because Cold Darkness Awakened simply does not compare.
