Game description

Rogue Warrior is a character-driven, first-person-shooter, featuring Richard 'Demo Dick' Marcinko's explosive personality in an action-packed single player campaign, and intense multiplayer combat.

Playing as Richard 'Demo Dick' Marcinko, you go behind the iron curtain to disrupt a suspected North Korean ballistic missile program. Soon into the mission, you uncover a conspiracy that could turn the tides of the Cold War in the communists' favor. You must then take the mission into your own hands as you enter into the bowels of the USSR to destroy a technology that could change the balance of geopolitical power, leaving a trail of destruction in your wake!

Key Features:

  • Play as a Real Life Legend:

Play as Richard "Demo Dick" Marcinko — a real-life American badass. His defiant, crude, and sometimes ruthless behavior has earned him both glory and infamy in the history books. Now you take on his explosive nature as you engage in black ops and go against the rules of conventional warfare to get the job done.

  • Brutal Kills:

With more than 25 uniquely brutal kill moves, do what it takes to take out the enemy. No trick is too dirty as you maintain the element of surprise whenever possible - find and kill the enemy before they find you.

  • Targets of Opportunity:

Be an instrument of destruction as you create tactical advantages by eliminating any and all targets that would otherwise benefit the enemy.

  • Multiplayer Mode:

Go head to head against others online and even perform brutal kill moves on your friends.

  • Award-winning Talent:

Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke voices Dick Marcinko's in-game character.

Rogue Warrior

As the title says.... "Short but decent". I wasn't really expecting this game to be like that. And what I mean is, that it reminded the game "The Punisher" and I really found it decent (though a lot of people complain that Rogue Warrior it not so good). Look, it has it's flows, it's short, it's definitely not the best game ever nor the worst ever, but it's decent and it's worth giving a shot (plus, for the money it costs, it's without a doubt worth it). After finishing the game (it took me almost 3 hours), I realised these things: Shooting feels great. The combat in general is very good (and yes, for some reason it reminded of "The Punisher" game due to the special kills). The graphics were alright as well, but it was the last thing I cared about in this game, to be honest. If the game's good, graphics are my least worry. I really didn't want it to be THIS short, I wanted more content because I was just getting started with it, you know? It is what it is though. And hey, the story was suits perfect to it's style! Also, difficulty felt... well, not really hard but not too easy for me. Well, It's a nice little guns blazing game, that can be easily liked by a lot of people & can also be disliked easily by a lot of people. All in all, it was alright, but it still makes me mad about how short the game was. It also has some flaws, but for 4.99$ (or usually around 1$ at a sale), is more than worth it. Recommended at a sale. 4 stars from me, I won't rate it less.

Can be beaten easily and that the main advantage of this title.

Rogue Warrior is a rather poor attempt of a game, as you can beat it in about 2-3 hours. Maybe it's even better considering how bad it is. Extremely linear level design combined weak storyline and bad enemies AI gives us a bad mixture you probably should stay away from, there are far better games in this price range, better get some better indie game as this is simple "meh" at most.

Why so short?

Rogue Warrior is a FPS game based on a book by Richard Marcinko, who served in American special forces. It tells a story of a SEALs unit and their mission in the Far East. It's very enjoyable and interesting but also surprisingly short. It took me much less than 2 hours to complete the game and I am not the fastest player. I heard of people being able to make it in less than an hour. Maybe the game was supposed to receive a load of DLCs and expansions, but as it is now, it's fairly short unless you want to play it in the multiplayer mode. You have to decide it by yourselves, because for a singleplayer gamer it is tense but short.
