A great cyberpunk action shooter

RUINER stands out for its cyberpunk style and neon setting. It could be said that it is a mix between Nex Machina (world and characters) and Hotline Miami (gameplay). Like the latter, it is quite violent and presents itself as such from the outset, tries to entertain through that violence and turns it into its main narrative medium. It should be noted that unlike the triple A games we're accustomed with, this game has a unique personality that makes it worth owning. As far as pros go, its fantastic atmosphere, beautiful and detailed world for all lovers of cyberpunk (and glowing things), fast-paced and satisfying gameplay, a memorable main character (RUINER just wouldn't be the same without its protagonist), a well chosen soundtrack and last but not least a good price. The cons consist, in my opinion, of things like the great, fitting soundtrack not being utilised enough and the game being so addictive it can temporarily damage your social life. In short, RUINER is audio-wise, visually and technically a masterpiece that chooses to convert the slaughter and gore into art and fun, without holding anything back, just like Hotline did.

This is how you suppose to make games like this!

RUINER is fantastic game comes from Reikon Games, former developers of great games like The Witcher games, This War of Mine and Dying Light, and just considering this you might already know you are going to play a great game! RUINER is a top down cyberpunk shoot'em up with an intense atmosphere, fast gunplay which makes you shoot and eliminate anything stands in your way and it has also an immersing story. In fact, developers borrowed some amazing gameplay elements from successful formulas and they combined them all together in a beautiful and almost perfect way to deliver such a delightful and pleasure experience! So if you are a fan of this kind of games like Shadowrun or Hotline Miami you won't regret of experiencing this game!

You must experience this fast-paced shooter

RUINER is a top-down brutal shooter which has a isometric view, You play in the role of a strange sociologist who revolts against the corrupt system of the city and wants to save his stolen brother in addition to the secret behind the society; he will do all this with the help and guidance of his hacker friend. One of the problems which you may encounter is that you feel the game is too easy, but if you progress further, you will find this is not true! In RUINER, you can find advanced weapons with shooting with them are very exciting. In this game, making quick moves in the struggles requires a delicate balance to fight ruthless forces and defend against their powerful attacks and face different opponents in various ways. I'm sure RUINER will attract the attention of the fast-paced shooter enthusiasts.

Top down shooter poured with awesome sauce.

Ruiner reminds me of classic action shooter poured with some modern sauce. So what do we get when we combine those two? An amazing shooter that will provide lots of fast-paced fun. Killing enemies is really satisfying but it is not easy as well since the fast thinking and good dexterity is mandatory to get somewhere. Still, the setting is fantastic and I really see big potential in this title.
