I was pleasantly surprised by this game, even tho it clearly it's a low budget, it features some interesting mechanics and concepts and manages to feel fresh. You control this little robot thingie, sent to capture footage on this house. You are given certain objectives like "capture footage of the entrance" and as you do, the'll open up more areas for you to investigate, and so on, as you capture footage you start noticing weird stuff going on. I have to say the controls feel super weird at the start (mouse and keyboard on a 3rd person fixed perspective angle) but I got the hang of it fairly quickly, there's also a first person (robot) mode view to help you navigate at the cost of your battery power (automatically rechargeable when not in use) that you can use on the fly. Right from the get go, the game familiarizes you with the controls and mechanics, asking you to take photos of certain things with the camera (you do that by holding the spacebar), and "uploading" them so they can check them out, as you do as you are told, you'll get some upgrades to your FPS view (it starts super pixelized and black and white only) and eventually you'll get color, more definition, and even night-shot vision so your can better capture what's going on in that house. Even tho you are controlling a robot, and there are no real dangers throughout the game (until the end, but I won't get into spoilers) there still is a sense of creepiness and urgency during the gameplay. The game itself is quite short both in areas to discover and overall length (30 mins to an hour maybe?) and the game CAN be completed in under 10 mins for sure if you know what you are doing. There is no extra content either, and short of 4 achievements (3 of which you naturally get by ending the game) there's nothing else to do. Having said that, I feel it's the right length for this particular game, and the length fits what it sets to do with the experience. It's a flawed but fun, low budget game with some interesting ideas.
