Angry Magicka

redrebelleader

Or angry Catapults? Anyway, this is a fun little game, where you have to use physics, to defeat magic. My Elementary science teacher would be thrilled...actually, she might be...who knows. Anyway, the mechanics are very simple, and fun. Not much to say about it really, just that it is a good slightly thought provoking fun, for all ages. Has trading cards, and achievements, and currently has a positive rating on steam. Definitely worth it's rather cheap price.

This is a cute little angry birds clone.

Jack2Shepard

Simple goal of destroying different colored wizards with a variety of war engines that you can upgrade as you progress. There are a fair number of levels, and when you first start you will be knock off the first dozen in just a few minutes. Still, despite the simplicity there is a fair amount of polish. The artwork is simple but pleasing. The sound adds to the overall cute atmosphere. The game was a joy to play, if a little short. If you like this type of game, this is a worthwhile title to try. 8/10

Good low priced Angry Birds style game

Legolas_Katarn

Siege Wars is an Angry Birds style game where you control catapults, or similar devices with different types of ammo, that are attempting to destroy the fortifications housing enemy mages. Mages will attempt to cast spells that will destroy your catapults, you are able to see who is casting and if you can kill that mage the spell won't go off. There are a variety of stage backgrounds and different levels attached to each background, upgrades can be bought, different ammo fired, and each stage will rate you up to three stars. For people that like the feature or that are used to it, there is no indication of the trajectory of your previous shot. It's a good and low priced Angry Birds style game, won't change your mind if you don't like the genre but can be worth a look if you do.
