Game description

World War III was one cruel tragedy, at least for the others. You seemed to have a quite nice time, hidden in your fancy penthouse at the Skyhill Hotel... Till the impact of a bio-weapon blew away the life you once knew.

Now there are mutants everywhere, and they're eager to rip you to shreds with their vicious claws. But they aren't your only problem: Your supplies are running out. You have to leave your luxurious penthouse and search for food. Walking through the skyscraper means going through hell. There is danger around every corner and death is a steady companion. But seriously, how would someone prepare for something like this? It doesn't matter anymore. Nothing matters but survival. And time is running out.

Open the door.

This game is great fun but might get repetitive

Skyhill tells the story of a man stranded in a big hotel during a zombie apocalypse, it's a 2D rogue-like survival game , gameplay wise you run around in the hotel scavenging for stuff as you fight numbers of flesh hungry zombies who in this game could be the police trying to stop you from looting everything you take because you do pick up a lot of stuff with which you can craft numerous items and weapons ranging from saw blades to food , you start at the top floors of the hotel and your objective is to get to the lower levels and leave the hotel , sounds easy enough but it isn't , elevators don't work properly so you need to use the stairs every once in a while and when elevators do work you'll realize that zombies do use them too so it's safer and smarter not to trap yourself in a metal fortified box, the zombies also can use various items against you like knives and clubs , and the fighting mechanic is quite cool , you can choose to enter a VATS like system from Fallout and attack specific limbs and body parts of these zombies , you can also level up by leveling number of attacks during turns in battle and amount of health you recover by sleeping and so on , you need to level up your attributes wisely because the lower you go down the larger and tougher enemies become ,Graphics are decent 2D pixels and animations are alright , the overall level design feels like a grid system with each block being a room or hallway in the hotel, music is nice and very immersing and sound effects are well done , i recommend buying this game as it is a whole lot of fun.
