It's a first-person roguelite with a focus on melee combat and loot. Now for some vague copy followed by a list of features:
You have been imprisoned and left to rot in the depths of Slasher's Keep, a frightful construct towering above the forgotten forest in the remotest wilds of Ool. As rulers came and went the keep remained the final destination for the nation's most undesirable elements. Many a scoundrel has tried and failed to escape its dungeons, perilous as they are. Will you share their fate, or will you overcome the challenges ahead involving the features below?
If you're into dungeon crawlers, this should feel familiar. Level up, collect items, become powerful, kill everything. Sound is great and the art style I particularly enjoy. The game takes a dull and drab environment and transforms it into eye candy while still keeping the gameplay we enjoy so much. Did not encounter any bugs. Even early in development, I can recommend. This is a yet another dungeon crawler game. The style of this genre is simple - you level up, become stronger by doing basically anything and them roflstomping your way through. The atmosphere this game creates is rather unique, as boring environments are turned into an amazing place to be at, alongside the great soundtrack and interesting style. For an Early access game, it already feels bug-free and without any problem.
Slasher's Keep is a first person dungeon crawler where you will start unarmed in a cell and find equipment and supplies as you go. Areas and drops are randomized and the game is done in a nice looking cel-shaded style. Fighting enemies involves using different types of attacks, changed by your movement, while trying to parry enemy attacks, hitting enemies in the head will do more damage and you have the ability to bash enemies with your supply sack that can knock them back into traps. The game has save spots on the map and when you create a character you can choose to turn on permanent death. It's an alright game now, there are some bugs to be fixed and more content is planned for the future while it is in early access, if you like these kinds of games it can be worth a look.
