The Street Fighter V, with all ups and downs that it has created, can still be appealing in the multiplayer section and fighting others. Adding new characters to this series has somewhat succeeded and somewhat unsuccessful, such as the presence of characters like Rashid, which has a great variety of moves. But on the other hand, we see a character like Feng suffering from poor personality. if you're one of those who like fighting against others, Street Fighter V can be the best option for challenging all the fighters of the game around the world. The design and graphics of the game are really good. 2.5-d animation graphics with great details were well displayed. With the pricing of characters in the game store, the studio basically says that you never have to count on a zen money (virtual currency game). Because these characters are so expensive that you should get this season pass to have all the characters! so the digital Deluxe looks necessary!
Street Fighter V 2017 Deluxe Edition is the version to get if by any chance you don't own Street Fighter V by now but let's ask a simple question now, how many times will Capcom release the same title? Because it's said that SFV is meant to be supported for five seasons so does that means there will be 18, 19 and 20 editions too? And be honest, you need seasons passes anyway to have the full experience because grinding for fight currency is simply not worth the time!
First things first... this isn't what we used to call Street Fighter. Come on, all the previous games of the series were complete & satisfying. This one... lacks content. There isn't an Arcade Mode, and I'm not even kidding. BUT! Although characters of the game need to be purchased with in-game money (you just have to play a lot to earn in-game money) or with real money, THIS edition gives you all the characters AND with 'premium' costumes. Let's be serious though, this was a big bad idea that they decided to release them as DLC, they maybe got too greedy. Street Fighter got 'fresh' graphics, good gameplay time (although to enjoy the game you need all the characters and sometimes it might get a little boring), the mechanics are fine (usual Street Fighter mechanics), but it could have been way better as a final product, you know? This Deluxe Edition is all you need in order to enjoy properly the game, or else you will find yourself fighting again and again to make some in-game money. In case anyone wondering, Akuma is indeed available in the Season 2 Character Pass. So, let's say you're a fan of the Street Fighter series... you better consider more of purchasing the Deluxe Edition at a good sale (because it's overpriced), or else, arm yourself with patience and let the in-game money flow to unlock every not-available character. Definitely, I would recommend previous Street Fighter games than this one. My rating for Street Fighter V Deluxe Edition: 75/100
