"Tabletop Simulator makes me so happy!" - Rock, Paper, Shotgun
Create your own original games, import custom assets, automate games with scripting, set up complete RPG dungeons, manipulate the physics, create hinges & joints, and of course flip the table when you are losing the game. All with an easy to use system integrated with Steam Workshop. You can do anything you want in Tabletop Simulator. The possibilities are endless!
Tabletop Simulator has it all. The base game includes 15 classics like Chess, Poker, Jigsaw Puzzles, Dominoes, and Mahjong. Additionally, there are thousands of community created content on the Workshop. If you’re the tabletop gaming type, we include an RPG Kit which has tilesets & furniture, as well as animated figurines that you can set up and battle with your friends, with even more options in the Chest. There’s even an option for Game Masters so they can control the table!
If you’re into creativity and prototyping, you can easily create your own games by importing images on to custom boards & tables, create custom decks, import 3D models, create scripts, and much more. You can choose to upload your creations on the Steam Workshop or share them privately with your friends.
Everyone can play Tabletop Simulator! Play a classic board game with grandma, have poker night with the guys, or start your epic RPG adventure with your crew. Play almost any tabletop game you can think of! Being a multiplayer-focused game, up to 10 players can play at any given time.
I used to love board games, + i always wanted to try tabletop rpg-s, but never got the chance to try them out. As i grow older, with my job i didn1t have time to travel, or simply to just go to the next street to play. This game pretty much solves the problem. In itself the core concept is simple. You have a hand, with which you can move objects. It's not entirely phisics based, but it looks good. You have a built in chat and server finder, and a few games. Real value is the user created content, and that is humongous! I've yet to find any game the didn1t mage already! A few of them are in the paying dlc's but most games have a free version! It1s just awesome! better with friends as always, but here, you can actually make new friends. The community is very nice :)
This basically is exactly what the name implies... it provides a virtual area where you can play all types of board games on a flat surface. With nigh-infinite replayability due to anyone being able to port any game in existence or in the realms of imagination-land into the simulator this is somewhat of a good value if you like playing table games with friends.
Tabletop Simulator is one of the greatest things to come to gaming in a LONG time. Play any boardgames imaginable, you're not just confined to the 15 game modes the devs give you. With mods you can literally play any boardgames. The mods are pretty small in download size too, 5kb for a monopoly mod I found. This game is soon to have steam workshop too, so everything you could ever want to play will be in one central hub. This is of course a multiplayer game. You can seamlessly drop in and out of any of the listed servers, provided they aren't locked with a password. If the host has a game loaded such as monopoly people can still join and play without having to download the mod. Hosting your own server is also very easy, theres no extra download for it, and you don't have to port forward or use hamachi. When hosting, you will run into people who will flip the table. Fortunately there is a back button to undo any mess a person may have made, and a kick/ban button to prevent any further mishap. If you want to be able to play any board/card/tabletop rpg game with anyone at any time, then Tabletop Simulator is definitely for you.
Fun laid back game to play with friends, lobbies can fit up to 7 people. Any board game or card game you can think of is probably available to download for this game in the steam workshop, there are hundreds of games available there, including UNO, Clue, Cards Against Humanity (personal favorite), Secret Hitler, Monopoly, Scrabble, Connect Four, Life, etc. Graphics are very good and you dont need a great pc to run it as well. You can do some fun stuff in the game like draw on items, drop a mp3 player on the table to play songs and can even drop a tablet on the table to search websites like youtube so all the players can see it. The only thing I don't like is that there's lots of controls and commands you need to memorize in order to fully play these games efficiently. There's voicechat in the game in order to communicate when playing with randoms as well.
Fantastic game. I'm a busy engineer, with most of my friends living far away. Nothing better than a board game to chat over, and this game is the closest thing to a board game night I can think of. I'm not much for the current batch of pvp multiplayer games; it's not worth the time to get proficient enough that each match isn't a lesson in competitive respawning, but this type of online multiplayer is absolutely wonderful. I'm very excited to have found this game, as it will no doubt be a solid way to keep up with my friends. The sandbox element is wonderful as well. I can definitely see my self contributing to the workshop as time goes on. The game makes it extremely accessible to be a contributor to the community, and from what I can tell, it's a great community worth contributing to.
