Dark omens herald the end of all things. Fire rains from the sky, the sea swallows the land, demons stalk the world and the dead rise from their graves.
In the midst of these dark times, great heroes are needed to face these new threats and save the world of Talisman from utter annihilation.
The Harbinger expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition adds;
The Harbinger at first glance looks like expansion giving plenty of content - new endings, characters, tons of cards, new mechanics, sounds like fun! Sadly, it looks only good on paper. So, first of all, this expansion rises the difficulty quite a bit by overpowering the monsters completely, giving the game time limit (meaning you can't play at your own speed or however you like) and by having the player constantly at disadvantage. All of that because of Omens, who can do that and serve as a time limit (when all of them are revealed, you lose the game). It turns fun little board game session into a struggle full of frustration, that in the end doesn't give much fun and no satisfaction at all when you finally finish it. Overall, give this one a pass, unless you really feel masochistic.
