Gameplay isn't always interesting but it looks good and has cats

The Purring Quest is a 2D platformer that has you controlling a cat trying to find fish bones and other collectibles in each of the five levels. You have two different kinds of jumps, can climb certain objects, and can scratch at enemies, such as mice, there are also dogs that you have to avoid. There are boss fights at the end of every stage. The game features good orchestral music and hand drawn and well animated graphics with some nice little details in the animals and some great looking backgrounds. Some models get reused in later levels which is a shame as the art is a high point and the game isn't that long, the controls aren't always as responsive as they should be but they usually won't cause any problems. There is nothing that interesting about the level design or gameplay and there are some odd inclusions. It's a decent game with good art for a fairly low price, something for cat lovers, others can probably skip it without missing much.
