Game description

What if alien life is closer than we think? Not in faraway galaxies or on planets still unknown to the human race... What if it was shining into our eyes every night for the past 4.5 billion years? They call themselves the Bantarans for Bantara is the native name of the Moon. Similar to humans, and yet so much different. Bantarans are known to have not one heart like the humans, not even two hearts like the Doctor, but even three hearts functioning perfectly within their bodies. But where are they? And why haven't we ever seen them? There's a catch... The Bantara mother carries the Bantara baby inside of her for about 4000 years... That's how much it takes for those three hearts to become perfectly synchronized. But their lifespan reaches more than 100 000 years. How come? There are absolutely no known bacteria nor viruses on the Moon leaving them with the perfect chance to evolve very fast... Until 1969 - human year. That's when us, humans, had made our big achievement and landed on the Moon's surface. We gloated for a while and then simply gone away leaving behind a neovirus that is not detectable by human technology. That was the end of the life as the Bantarans knew. Afraid, desperate and almost hopeless, the Bantarans decided to run for their lives... And their target was Earth... They didn't hate, they didn't want revenge, they simply wanted the humans to help them. But they were, as us humans would say, naive. As soon as they have landed and made contact, we started protesting against helping the aliens for they might be our enemies. Typically. Human scientists were forced to lock the Bantarans inside laboratories and conduct experiments, but there was one person who has restored the faith in humanity. Dr. Oliver Pendaka declined to commit genocide and released the Bantarans making it possible for them to flee further inside the laboratory. There still might be hope for the Bantarans from the Moon. Save the race of our night light!

Reviews for They Came From The Moon

A cheap lemmings clone

This is not a bad game, but not terribly original either. All you have to do, is navigate your lemm...err aliens to the end, using various elements. The puzzles get real hard real fast, and since there is no pause, you will have to hurry every single time. It is also rather awkward to restart the level, first you have to kill all your aliens, and then you can restart. It should've been a press of a button. I recommend this game mainly for those, who want to collect achievements. This game is the easiest to max out, all you have to do, is play for 2 hours, and you get all 9 of them! It almost feels like the game bribes you for playing. Now, it can be fun, but it also can get frustrating after a while. But for this money, it's worth it.

Nice game

Maybe graphically is not the best option and for that reason many people will not like it, but the game has more to offer than a graphic content and is complexity and difficulty of each level, the game itself is quite entertaining

They Came from the Moon - Lemmings plus Meat Boy minus fun

They Came from the Moon is half Meat Boy - leap and dash through treacherous rooms full of circular saws and other traps, and half Lemmings - try to save a line of marching little creatures from bumbling blindly into certain death. Unfortunately, the game is very half-baked. The physics are not as tight as they should be (and with a game like this, they need to be). The placeholder graphics they have now are immensely boring. The ingenuity/difficulty of the levels scarcely increases as the game goes on, leading to an incredibly repetitive experience. All in all, you probably want to skip this game, as many other flash or mobile titles can be had for free that are more interesting and engaging.
