This game can be really tough, even if you have a good team (which you will lack, unless you recruited your friends) but all of it is worth it. This is the best experience in the team based tactical shooter genre you can get, and also, it's pretty cheap now.
This game has its system of personification of your character to be able to add camouflages, vests, different weapons with modifications and more things. Even use your own Webcam to put your face in your Rainbow. Mode History: you play as Bishop (if you play in coop, you or a teammate will play as Knight depending on who creates the game) the leader of your squadron next to Michael Walter and Jung Park in Las Vegas with the aim of stopping the hermandos Miguel And Alvarez Cabrero, suspected of developing chemical weapons. There are missions where you can choose to stealth with muted weapons avoiding the enemy call reinforcements, or you can simply grab heavy weapons and shoot anything that moves (of course you do not kill civilians). After advancing in the game you will be able to unlock weapons, objects and camouflage for your character every time you raise Level / Rank. My opinion of the story: very good since it has a "Before and After" of the events of Rainbow Six Vegas 1 including the protagonist of the first game, Logan Kellar, and sabras SPOILER: "because Gabriel Nowak betrays us". But if you did not play 1, even this game will enchant you. Hunting Terrorists: Very good game mode in which you can play alone or with 3 more players. It consists of playing against the terrorist AI and you must eliminate all the enemies that the game tells you. Multiplayer Versus: Do not play this mod a lot since I spend more in Coop mode. But the little that I play I recommend that you try practicing in Hunting Terrorists since many players have it clear when it comes to Versus. My note: 9/10 (there are some bugs in story mode regarding bots, but hey ... it was created by Ubisoft so you'll know it's common
I've spent hours on this game in the solo mode, and lots on the online mode. It's fantastic! Maybe it doesn't stand with today's standards in graphics, but hey, you've got a very good game here, that's what matters. Tom Clancy is behind the game as usual, so there's a lot of quality content. The cover system was new for me: you can take cover and you switch from first person to third person view (just when you're covering against a wall or something like that). A great game!
This is one of the best shooters I ever played. Right after an old version of it Raven Shield. This game is a tactical shooter, has awesome graphics (as for the production year) and some few bugs... unfortunately... that never been fixed. For example stuck sound - TA TA TA TA TA TA all the game until the match is finished. But even that shouldn't scare You from trying it out. HEY! Everyone who loves COOP FPS shooters. THIS IS GAME FOR YOU!
Whilst the gameplay of RBSV2 is solid and refines the experience of it's predecessors, it's a shame to have to say that the PC port of this game isn't the best. With limited FOV (That can't be changed through .ini files or tweaks of any kind) and a variety of other problems, you're definitely not going to get the best experience on this platform. Putting this aside, however, chances are you'll still be able to easily complete the singleplayer and play multiplayer without much hassle. The controls may take some getting used to if you aren't familiar with the Vegas branch of Rainbow Six games, however when you get that down, the cover based shooting really stands out in comparison to other titles. For how cheap it goes now, I can highly recommend this game if you don't mind an low FOV. I just had more fun on the console version.
