Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 – the sequel to the award-winning next-generation first-person shooter – returns to Sin City. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is your last chance to rescue America’s sexiest city from an escalating terrorist siege that will force you into heart-pounding action from beginning to end. The best are back and this time winner takes all.

Recipient of numerous awards, including 2006 Best First Person Shooter and Best Online Game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will push the top-selling franchise to new heights with new gameplay features and groundbreaking co-op and multiplayer modes.

Key Features

  • Ubisoft Montreal Returns – Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is back in the hands of Ubisoft’s Montreal studio, creators of the award-winning and highly acclaimed Rainbow Six Vegas, to ensure that ending to the Vegas story is one you’ll never forget.
  • More Vegas – Sin City is back and bigger than before. Explore all new Vegas hot spots as the environment changes from dusk to bright daylight to dawn, creating a visual experience that is as challenging as it is breathtaking.
  • More Multiplayer – The highly acclaimed multiplayer mode in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas has been upgraded to include 11 new, smaller maps that force more intense face-offs, 2 new adversarial modes, more rewards, and easier access to matches using the improved and intuitive matchmaking system.
  • Unprecedented Customizable Experience – Create your own identity that stays the same in both single player and multiplayer modes and progresses as you do. Reap the benefits of your single player rewards in multiplayer and vice versa.
  • Vastly Improved Co-op mode – Turn single player mode into co-op mode at any time, just by jumping into the game. Now your friend can jump into your single player game and help you without any change to the story. Single player maps and storyline were created with co-op in mind, which means every map has multiple entry points and the story is the same.
  • Improved AI – AI is more challenging than ever. Now, the terrorists are equipped with thermal vision, night vision, and shields – not to mention a multitude of varying reactions – all of which are guaranteed to give you a new playing experience every time you go into battle. As you progress within the game, you’ll only be able to outsmart your enemies by taking advantage of intel opportunities, such as thermal scanning, and tactical strategies, such as leapfrogging.
  • New Weapons and Armor – Take down the terrorists more effectively using 11 new weapons. New camouflage, clothing and gear allow you to take customization to the next level.

Reviews for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2

100% Rainbow Six game!

I've spent hours on this game in the solo mode, and lots on the online mode. It's fantastic! Maybe it doesn't stand with today's standards in graphics, but hey, you've got a very good game here, that's what matters. Tom Clancy is behind the game as usual, so there's a lot of quality content. The cover system was new for me: you can take cover and you switch from first person to third person view (just when you're covering against a wall or something like that). A great game!

No game like that

This is one of the best shooters I ever played. Right after an old version of it Raven Shield. This game is a tactical shooter, has awesome graphics (as for the production year) and some few bugs... unfortunately... that never been fixed. For example stuck sound - TA TA TA TA TA TA all the game until the match is finished. But even that shouldn't scare You from trying it out. HEY! Everyone who loves COOP FPS shooters. THIS IS GAME FOR YOU!

Great game, moderate port

Whilst the gameplay of RBSV2 is solid and refines the experience of it's predecessors, it's a shame to have to say that the PC port of this game isn't the best. With limited FOV (That can't be changed through .ini files or tweaks of any kind) and a variety of other problems, you're definitely not going to get the best experience on this platform. Putting this aside, however, chances are you'll still be able to easily complete the singleplayer and play multiplayer without much hassle. The controls may take some getting used to if you aren't familiar with the Vegas branch of Rainbow Six games, however when you get that down, the cover based shooting really stands out in comparison to other titles. For how cheap it goes now, I can highly recommend this game if you don't mind an low FOV. I just had more fun on the console version.

Good game

I remember to play this game with my elder brother first time i play this game i remember that i screw up because i have no idea i just want to go out and shoot everything This ranbox six is more action but some how you still need to take cover and use some tactic you can't be rambo so i think the game is really good to play with your friend co-op I don't play much online but anyway the game is great i recommend

Classic Tom Clancy

If you are a fan of Tom Clancy games or Rainbow Six you should most definitely check this title out, it includes all the classic elements needed- Vegas, Multiplayer and lots and lots of weapons! It is also fun to defeat the terrorists and use/try/equipment lots of different types of equipment. Also if you don't want a graphics intense game, this will run fine one most older PC's.
