Best Splinter Cell in the entire franchise

LightWolfDM

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is well known as the best Splinter Cell ever made, after the success of the first game and the disappointment of the third game. Sam Fisher is back, now better than ever, with new and old tools and better moves and tricks to show off in this stealthy game. The game looks amazing even today, and the controls can be improved, but still fully enjoyable experience. This was also the first Splinter Cell to include multiplayer mode (Co-op) to enjoy the game with a friend. Recommended.

One of the greatest of all time

Dave24

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this game. All of the stages are memorable and a lot of fun to play even to this day and stealth mechanics are still crazy relevant and didn't turn obsolete at all. To this very day there were not that many stealth games to dethrone it, let alone challange it. While the graphics may feel outdated (although, shadows still look amazing and not plastic like in some of today games) by today's standards, music, voice acting, writing and level design are top notch and timeless. If you were turned off by previous splinter cell games (why would you, though?) or never played the series or just love stealth games, pick up this one. One of the best of all time and absolute must to play before you die!

The best of the series

spiderhopper_hu

This game is simply perfect! The graphics are way better, the enemies are smarter, the stages and the story are way more ingageging, and Sam finally got a knife, to deal with his enemies! Things are looking up for Third Echelon :) The Voice actors performance are still stellar, and the writing become even better then the previous games. Sam Fisher is a great guy to hang out with...just don't say monkey ;) Pandora tomorrow had multiplayer, but here, we finally got the coop game mode, where we control 2 other agents in a different storyline. If you think, those poor NPC don't stand a chance against two stealth killers, think again! This is one of the genuanly challenging coop games, where brute force rarely works, and even then just barely. The music is awesome. I listen to it sometimes to this day. Poor NPC that rocked so hard to one of the songs, he didn't notice me and my brother climbing down behind him.. :) Buy this twice, you won't regret it :)

Shadows...

Pros The most refined stealth mechanics I've ever seen. It's so perfect Sam Fisher is an overwhelmingly lovable character Funny and humorous voice-acting Long story The graphics are still acceptable today, and it was made in 2005! Amazing and groovy soundtrack Cons Easy to get lost, maps are most of the time little help. I really like the 3D design but you are unable to interact with it Sloppy animations Prepare your Quicksave's and Quickload's Overall: 9.8/10, a must-own for stealth fans. The pros overwhelm the cons

BEST GAME OF THE SPLINTER CELL SERIES

DDEMOLITOR

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is a real stealth action game. Also one of the best. The Game have definitely been improved over its predecessor with addition of new features such as new emf vision that help you find electronic devices and track cable lines, new OCP device attached to the pistol which temporary disables light sources without breaking them.Mission design also slightly improved. For example on some mission the game doesn't allow you to use your lethal weapons and breaking light and force you use OCP device that makes things more intense. There are also some secondary and bonus worth completing objectives like interrogation and hacking all of these add to the game more replay value. There are so many types of different location the game takes place such as japan , korea ,a bank and a cargo ship.Graphics and sound design are excellent , games levels are so convincing and polished. There are also coop gameplay mode that needs real cooperation.Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is a great game and definitely far more than a MGS inspired game.
