Holy wow... This game is pretty crazy in-depth for the managerial aspect of a Wrestling simulator. You essentially become your own Vince McMahon and take the helm of your own wrestling promotion. Hiring bookers, talent, advertising, etc. Take note however, you control none of the physical wrestling itself, but can determine the outcomes, rivalries, promos, etc. You just play the part of the backstage owner that chooses to run his wrestling company how he sees fit, including managing funds. Great game.
It seems that these days management games are not difficult to come by, and Total Extreme Wrestling is no exception. Like other games of its natures you'll have to manage your wrestler, promote them, and deal with the press. The game is quite deep in how it pulls this off, but so are many other management games and this one simply doesn't stand out. The interface is bland and the incentive to come back and play more is lacking. Despite this, it's still a relatively decent game and would be worth playing if you already enjoy management games.
Me, personally ain't didn't like this game so much. I didn't like how boring it was, considering that its a management game. I was more of an action-man when it comes to games. I like more of fighting, and killing stuff than just sitting idly while booking the wrestlers schedule. You basically promote the wrestlers in this game. Book them into different places for fights and stuff. Basically, well, you're the manager. What makes this game interesting is that you deal with certain occurrences, like for example the audience did not like the fight and they give opinion about it and stuff, or when there is a fight backstage and you have to fix it. I think you can add mods to it like a real life mod, where you actually have to make more critical thinking on how the crowd will react. Well, that sums up on what I seen to have known on the game mechanics. Well, if you're fond of managing your schedule and stuff, this is your game. As for me, nope.
