Almost the same as Civilization, but in a fantasy world

While at first it looks like a Civilization-clone, it's much more than that. The setting is a fantasy world, which is refreshing after five real-world Civ games. There is almost zero diplomacy, but the combat is detailed and fun. I really liked the graphics, while not the sharpest, they are quite good for a fantasy-themed game like this. It's not perfect of course, it feels a bit shallow compared to Civ, but it's still fun nonetheless.

Somehwat of a worthy Warlock game

For those who don't know Warlock is a hex based strategy game in a fantasy setting. The game looks very much like civilization and it plays in some ways similarly too. The first game was an awesome hex based strategy and I really liked it. This one is really more like a DLC to the first game as oppose to a full 30$ release. It has some optimization issues and to this date, and the graphics is barely improved. The limited towns option and the weird city building progression doesn't make things any better. needless to say the limited city option can be turned off but it is not recommended by the developers apparently. The most annoying thing for me is the new and "improved" UI, witch trying to be more complicated and sophisticated turned out to be more hard for players to differentiate what building does what and what it actually is. Overall if you really like the Warlock experience I recommend the first game Warlock : Master Of The Arcane.

Awesome game

This game is absolutely awesome! Every mechanic in the game and every concept in the game play is expertly executed to create an amazingly satisfying experience. The graphics in the game are also top notch and they are accompanied by very good sound effects and voice acting which all come together to make the game world feel realistic and involving for the player. The control system is intuitive and each mission that you embark on feels like a necessary task instead of monotonous fetch missions in order to improve your rank. This is a very good game!
