Game with a lot of potential

I have to be honest, this is not the kind of game I enjoy the most, but I do like to pick them up from time to time. The game itself reminded me of Unreal Tournament, which is one of my favorite First Person Shooters of all time. Gameplay is fluid, you go around picking up different forms you transform into, which basically work like different weapons with main and secondary shots. Graphics are not bad, I actually found them quite appealing. Wickland's main issue is the fact that most servers seem to be empty right now, which was a bit of a turn off for me. I'd recommend getting a few copies for oneself and a few friends to fully enjoy Wickland.

Frag like old times

Do you remember Quake III? Or maybe you are still playing it via browser? Well, if it's so, you're welcome to Wickland, one of the most surprising games in this period. Why surprising? Because Wickland, while repeats the mechanics of the great titles of the late '90 online Fps games, renews the genre with the morphing abilities of his characters and with his unique bestiary. Wickland is addictive as well as his grand parents; it's fast and full of power ups; it's for reactive players who know how to jump, stafe and want to play for kill with skill. Plus, now we have a useful spectator mode and the possibility to make practice in the arenas with cpu's guided bots. So, f you loved the magnificient old online competive FPS games, you'll adore Wickland; if you are too young to remember them, this is your chance to have great fragging fun.
