Farming simulator with visual novel aspects

Titlescreen, artwork, and character sprites are all fine. As advertised, the game plays A LOT like a visual novel. The first hour of the game is FILLED with text. Once the setting is established, you finally get to roam around and tend to your farm. (this consists of clearing out the weeds, logs, rocks in your farm. Plowing your farm, adding seeds, and watering crops. Each time you do an action, your energy meter depletes and once it is low enough, you have to sleep, which is a decent mechanic). I like the night and day transitions as well. Talking to people sometimes requires you to spam the action button, which is "J". I would describe this game as a visual novel with farming, fishing, and horse racing as mini games.

A clone of Harvest Moon but needs more polish.

Wild Season is a game about farming and public relations with your neighbors much like the game Harvest Moon, you can play as a male or female character , when you start farming you need to clear the fields from bad plants and rocks and using the different tools that are available in the game ,and you consume stamina when you do which will make this take a long time , the farming and taking care of your crops is more of a chore than fun because of how much stamina it takes you to clear a couple of squares in your field, you can also go mining but it didn't work for me , it might be fixed by the time you read this review, you can do normal Sims thing too where you can go shopping and meet new people and make friends , which is slightly better than the farming but doesn't offer that much incentive to make you play further because the main thing about this game is farming, and the time runs really slow in this game , the story to the game is that your character is recently taken up the profession of farming and he's introduced into the village and he needs to fit in and make a family , the graphics re decent 2D and characters look cute, music is nice and sets the mood whilst playing, it's a good game , just makes you think that it is more annoying at times than fun , so be warned if you want another clone of Harvest Moon.
