I use to watch wrestling on t.v and play WWE Smack Down vs. Raw 2007 on the Playstation 2 and PSP, but I had to stop after getting into college. I picked this game up a while back and got around to playing it recently. This game has a good roster of wrestlers, good variety of game modes, good game play mechanics, really good graphics, and multiplayer is a nice feature. I like the game for it's single player and split screen action. I bought 3 copies of the game for me and my friends. Keep in mind you do need a decent computer to play this game well. Really fun overall and I would recommend getting this on sale.
Being the very first WWE game on PC I do rate this game high. Been playing the WWE games since they were out on the PS1 and now being able to play it on PC is even better!!!
Well I should start off (as everyone else has) by saying I'm a WWE fan, and I've played all the WWE/WWF games since Smackdown on the PS1. I can say that this IS NOT the best WWE game to date, yes they've greatly updated the visuals which makes everything look better but it sacrifices a lot in the gameplay department to do it. A lot of classic WWE game features has been removed and will likely be introduced in later games as "new features" despite all of them being found in earlier titles. However I do understand that wrestling games are a bit of a rarity here on PC, so I would understand if didn't mind the loss in features as you've never gotten them to begin with. What you SHOULD NOT forgive however is the extremely bad port job, it feels awful to play this game how it is, the bugs are everywhere and they just ruin the experience. There is a reason you can (currently) buy it so cheaply, don't be suckered into it and avoid this game like the plague.
I have been a WWE fan for the past 10 years and can say without question that this is one of the better releases in that time. Many of the reasons that I believe this is because of it being on PC. Thanks to the great modders at Smacktalks.org your WWE 2k15 game can be updated down to the very latest attire or beard choice for Sheamus as an example. For me this is a huge plus to the game because if there is a negative I could say about the game it's that the created wrestlers available on Community network are not very good and can be downright lazy. I find the game play adequate though you will have to work if you want to have a "good" match which means doing some give and take with your moves just like in the WWE.
The WWE games have fallen off in recent years. They've turned to the Madden style of releasing small updates as games every year. WWE 2K15 actually adds a lot to the game, and getting all the DLC is a great touch. I'm really hoping the modding community jumps on this game harder than it has, but even withoutthat, it's a damn good time.
