Season 17 episode 7 - “Black Friday”

This is the first episode of three which leads up to South Park: Stick Of Truth. Anticipation for ‘Black Friday’ is building in South Park, as the Mall prepares for the biggest shopping day of the year, stating that ‘The darkest days of winter are coming’.

The kids of South Park prepare for the Black Friday onslaught and don their fantasy gear and split into two factions. The kids who are going to buy the Xbox One on Black Friday and the kids who are going to buy the PS4. It’s from there all out fantasy inspired war begins.

Season 17 episode 8 - “A Song of Ass and Fire”

The console war between Cartman’s Xbox One army and Stan’s PlayStation 4 army continues. Princess Kenny has defected to Stan’s side and Cartman is out for revenge. Stan and Kyle’s friendship takes a hit as Kyle joins Cartman’s side.

Season 17 episode 9 - “Titties and Dragons”

The South Park Mall doors finally open on the ill fated Black Friday sale. It has been foreseen that this will indeed be the biggest Black Friday ever.

The kids of South Park Colorado have made their preparations for the final battle to determine who will be the winner. The Xbox One or the Playstation 4

South Park: The Stick Of Truth immediately follows these episodes as the kids decide to renounce video games and take this battle across the whole town. South Park fans may also want to note that the kids first ever appearance in their fantasy costumes was in Season 6 episode 13, “The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers”.

This is the episodes where the kids dress up in their fantasy costumes for the very first time as they embark on an Lord Of The rings inspired quest to take the “fellowship of the ring” movie back to the rental shop. Little do they know that the movie has been replaced by an adult movie that Stan’s parents have rented.
