Unlike the original game, this one provides an excellent period in time with a story and reasoning for building these bridges to help save the castle from attack. The game is much like the first, but with additional challenges like falling rocks and variable weights of unit types and amounts. The levels that I enjoyed the most in this version of the game were where you purposefully have to build flimsy in order to sabotage the enemy convoys and cause them to plummet to their deaths. However, I do believe there aren't as many bridges to construct and the game was considerably easier despite them fixing the issues where you could build a flexible bridge with just light wood and under cables. But, it still makes for an excellent game as this is a major upgrade and makes this considerably more enticing to build a real bridge under the resource limit.
Bridge Constructor was a fun game. This game is exactly that same fun, but with a different look. I don't think there's a lot of new things here, apart from the new modes and levels. This is practically the same game though, except it's all medieval now. I suppose I get more horses passing my bridge this time around. Also, the wood's constitution is now my main concern, instead of steel or concrete. But it's all essentially the same game. I can compare it to buying the latest version of Angry Birds. Instead of updating the game and putting the new levels there, a new game is created and sold separately. I don't mean to sound like I didn't enjoy the game. It is almost worth the few laughs and challenges, I guess. And I do suppose that I enjoyed it quite a bit longer once I tried to see how crazy the design of my bridge could be. That's the kind of ludic gameplay that gives these kinds of games an extended life once the main campaign is done. But when the dust clears, and the king is happy, all I have left is a medieval version of Bridge Constructor. And while that's not too bad, it's not too good either. I'm done with this game, and perhaps I might revisit it again eventually. I can't make any promises though.
If you love Bridge Construction you should buy this game. After playing the game for several hours i found these pros (Fun gameplay, good music, and awesome physics).
I played that masterpiece on my iphone. It's amazing game! It brings you back few centuries back, and you have to build up a bridge to supply your city with provisions. Or bridges which gonna fall any moment as the horde of enemies steps on them. But those bridges won't help when the cannon fire starts at the higher levels. It's different from the previous version as it has enemies and it requires more logic and decisions to be made. The art style is much better, the stages too! The atmosphere is well made to make you feel the 13th century where all the knights and castles and kings were famous. The dev's have put a lot of effort into making this game, not just re-making it just to have something new on the store.
