Willkommen in Kyrat.

I Wish I Could Eat the Crab Rangoon

I was having a bad day running a family errand when a very nice man invited me to his home for dinner. The food looked fantastic, but I could not figure out how to eat the crab rangoon. So I sat there like a fool trying to figure out how to eat until the host returned. I was a little embarrassed, because he spoke so highly of the rangoon, but he still helped me finish my task. I really do hope he takes care of that trouble with terrorists, because this is a lovely place to visit. 4/5 stars. NOTE: I will upgrade to 5 stars if they release a patch to allow me to eat the crab rangoon.

The king of open world FPS games

Far Cry 4 is everything that was good in 3, but better. It has a bigger map, better graphics, and a better story. In my opinion the villain is better as well, and the final confrontation is't lackluster like the last game. There's nothing much else to say about it really. All the exploration, anymal hunting and enemy fortress sieges are here, just like the last time, only, the wildlife seems a little wilder this time around. Those damn Eagles! The multiplayer is also pretty rewarding. With a few friends it's easy to get lost in it for hours...days even.

Like Far Cry 3 but better.

Far Cry 4 is an FPS game with many RPG elements. We are imprisoned in Kyrat, a fictional country in India, with the mission of taking our mother's dead ashes to the altar of our deceased sister. At the same time, the inhabitants of Kyrat are asking us for help in the suppression of Pagan Min, the evil dictator. Obviously, we meet a lot of adventures and enemies and develop our character in a traditional RPG fashion. The story is addictive, the game also offers very nice graphics. Very enrtaintaining game that you should at least try.

Strong recommendation from me to new players and fans of previous games.

Far Cry 4 was my first experience with the Far Cry franchise. I avoided it on console and even avoided it on PC for awhile because of the Ubisoft logo that accompanied it. After playing through my current library, sinking over 650 hours into Warframe (still a great game) and not being able to find a decent open world survival game, I finally decided to give Far Cry 4 a shot. Even though I currently only have 11 hours on the game, I'm gonna step out on a limb here and say that I made a wise purchase. One of the big things that really stood out to me about the game, was the almost non-existent learning curve that comes with it. After playing a bunch of games that require the user to sink hours upon hours into it in order to have a good time, it was nice to finally have a game that I could just jump into and play. Crafting, the skill tree and weapon acquisition were all straight forward and easy to comprehend. Sure, it might feel like the game is treating you with kid gloves at certain points, but I never felt that the game was insinuating that I was ????????. It felt more like the game was saying, "Hey, you've got a kid, a job, a wife and yard work to do, so let's get you in this mf'er blowing **** up ASAP!" For that, I was appreciative. Another thing that really surprised me, was the wildlife in the game. Sometimes, these animals present more problems than the Royal Army. I swear, half of the time I was more concerned with getting gored by a rhino than I was with getting shot at. These crazy SoB's can even change the momentum of a firefight, whether you called them in for help or not (sometimes these bears just wanna fight). It also makes for some hilarious encounters during any downtime between liberating outposts and hijacking convoy trucks. As for the majority of negative comments (that aren't tech related), the problem seems to lie with the story. Well, as my friend Cypher once said, "Ignorance is bliss." Being new to the franchise, I missed out on the supposed Moby??????of all stories with Far Cry 3. I've also heard that Vass is equivalent to Heath Ledger's rendition of the Joker. Great! Looks like I've saved the best for last. As for this game, I can say that so far, the story is intriguing and the voice acting is great. No problem with me there. If I were to dock it for something, I am disappointed in the multiplayer aspect. While there is co-op, it's only for two people and from what I understand, the Campaign cannot be played and XP cannot be gained while teaming up with a friend. This type of game screams for multiple people to be on a server doing crazy stuff together...i guess that's what GTAV is for...oh well. In the end, I highly recommend this game for people who like to have a good time. If you're looking for a game that has the difficulty of Dark Souls with the leveling system of Path of Exile, you should skip this one. If, on the other hand, you want to ride an elephant off a cliff and wingsuit your way into an enemy camp while shooting explosive arrows, "Welcome to the party, pal!"

Hours of entertainment

Large open world map with plenty of side missions to fill your time between main missions. The story is good with lots of interesting characters. Play with a friend as Ajay and the dopey, yet lovable Hurk to take down fortresses and reclaim Kyrat
