Game description

F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandat Während das erste F.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R rocks!

My mind is made up after all these years... F.E.A.R 1 is still the BEST in the series. It's just unbeatable, and they couldn't make the second one or the third (this one is a complete disaster) as good as this. The second one was really good, undoubtedly, but F.E.A.R is one hell of a ride. While everything seems like you might do a wrong move and then an enemy will pop out of nowhere and scare the living soul out of your body, it really seems like it in a lot of moments. That, is a sign that they really caught the creepy essence of the game. Now, one of the highlights of the game, for me, is how the shooting works. For a game that was released in 2006, this was a really good thing to see/feel in F.E.A.R. The enemies are smart and won't leave you alone to even catch a breath if they decide to engage. The little girl that you see in the cover of the game, will give you a very hard time not to be scared even while you're not playing! The story is highly interesting, and it's best if you keep your eyes at the dialogues to see what's really going on. The stages are fairly big and overall it contains around 10 hours of gameplay or a bit more if I remember well (there's an expansion which adds extra scary hours also) for a normal run of the game. It is what it is... FEAR will literally give you plenty of fear inside and outside of the game, while at the same time will offer you a nice gameplay time, which will be worth your money and time. A must-have game to your collection. Currently at the Halloween Sale it costs only 2,25$!

infamously scary

Thic game combines a modern tactical shooter with a horror game, and it works perfectly. there are some scares that are cliched, like flickering lights, and so on, but then, there are those, that are subtle, and you might not notice them all, but when you do happen, to crouch at exactly the wrong place, after an adrenaline pumping shootout....well, i wasn't the only one who lost sleep that night. The tactical part of the game is very solid as well. You have superhuman reflexes, but the enemy has superior numbers, and use actual tactics, to try and flank you all the time. You really need to be on your those at every battle, if you want to win. The multiplayer also used to be great. The actually made it a free seperate game some time ago, but I'm not sure if that still exists. Anyway, this is a fine game old game. Even the graphics aged well, though i have to admit, it's somewhat dou to the fact that you'll mostly be in dark buildings :) f you like a good horror, check it out.

The AI is amazing.

F.E.A.R. is an old school style first person shooter that also has a lot of horror. What I mean by that is your health doesn't regenerate over time so you have to find and then use a health pack or medkit to heal. On the harder difficulties you have to manage your ammo or you may run out. I love the AI in this game. They will constantly try to flank you so you have to be careful at all times. I think they spent a lot of time creating the AI which is something that doesn't happen often. The graphics look a bit outdated now but that shouldn't stop you from playing F.E.A.R. as its a great game.

A horror shooter!

An awesome horror shooter that is filled with mystique and keeps me on edge for the entire game. The jump scares and the lack of information makes you on edge and the enemies are terrifying. You should really buy this.

Fantastic shooter

F.E.A.R is an amazing FPS with horror elements that made my skin crawl. Even in 2016 when im writing this there have been very few games that have done AI as well as F.E.A.R. While the graphics are showing their age they still look great. Oh yeah you can pin people to a wall with a nail gun it doesn't get much better than that. Definitely play this game!
