The game is nice and easy. The story is there, it may not be a masterpiece but it's interesting enough to keep you entertained. Sadly enough game is a bit repetitive, you fight still the same enemies. As for the visuals, the game offers cute, cartoon-like graphics, similar to Zelda: Breath of the Wind. Very good control especially on the gamepad. The game is suitable for younger audiences and I'm sure they will love it.
I beat this game on the hardest difficulty without dying on my very first playthrough, so the challenge in this game is extremely low. You can play parts with stealth but it's mostly sword fighting and magic. There's 6 playable characters you can use on the fly and they play different, but you'll probably only use a couple throughout except when you need another for puzzles. The graphics are very colorful and detailed and the atmosphere and soundtrack is very nice. The only time the game got hard though was during the final boss fight, and even it wasn't enough to give a game over. I would highly recommend this game for kids and younger gamers, but not so much to adults or hardcore gamers because there just isn't any challenge to be had. It is extrememly fun however. There's a lot of variety in the gameplay, be it saving animals, boating, riding a snowball, sneaking through tall grass, jumping across rooftops, and hanging on wires to name a few. The levels are very large and give an open world feel, but this is a very linear game. To get all the secrets, you can go down one path then backtrack and go down the other as it all leads to the same spot. There's a really great level where you traverse through a burning building, but most of your time is spent in forests and tall grass areas and villages. Definitely a must buy.
