After releasing very good Mortal Kombat 9 we got even better part ten, I love story mode because the way it's presented it top notch. The story is very interesting and fights are fairer that it was in previous part. This time devs added three play styles which you can choose before the fight, this determines properties of certain moves so there is a wide variety when it comes to a fight. Very solid 2.5D fighter!
One of the best for me, it is good in itself and remember those moments when I played it on PS1 console.
It's a good game, but the new characters not are charismatic enough. The PC version have alot of FPS issues, alot of frame drop everytime and 30 FPS on X-ray, Menus and most part of the game except the fightings.
Mortal Kombat X is the tenth main Mortal Kombat game and follows where MK9 ended. We're still in the new timeline and this time, it's all about Shinnok, the Elder God who was the main foe during Mortal Kombat 4. But this time, after a game which felt a lot like a "MK Trilogy HD" in terms of characters, the developpers tried something new. The cast is mostly composed of children and apprentice of old MK characters. See Cassie? She's the daughter of Sonyo and Johnny. Everyone here got a child or a apprentice to throw into battle. The new variation system is really good, declining each character into three different variations of the same guy. There is a lot of depth here and the game is very fun. The netcode is not stellar at all however and while there are plenty characters to play and things to unlock, there is already a whole bunch of DLC fighters to buy... It's a good game, a very good Mortal Kombat but maybe you should wait for the Definitive Edition that will come eventually.
The game has kicked up the graphics ten-fold since the last instalment. The environments are amazingly detailed and well-rendered. I experienced no frame-rate issues or anything. I love the fatalities. Mileena's especially is incredibly gruesome. I've never been a big fan of fighting games, and I've never actually played any of the old MK games for extended periods of time. This one I could barely stop playing.
