This game is actually not worth it's price tag. It has what made the Spellforce franchise great, but it's short and i'll risk to say that it has the worst story of all the Spellforce series, based on the cliche that you have to do everything "because it's your destiny". However, if you like Spellforce mechanics you can still find this game enjoyable, and if you like the single player free mode it will be worth it for you. Beware, however, that you won't be able to play with your friends if they own this game because the servers exist no more. You may try to find a way to play online with a program like hamachi, but I can guarantee that it won't be easy. Very average for the Spellforce series....
The long-awaited SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny is here! Surely it does not exceed expectations, but it meets them perfectly. The graphics may not be of the prettiest, but the aesthetics are gorgeous and the gameplay is stellar - what you would expect from a high-class hack-and-slash game. The singleplayer portion of the game is it's main part, and is executed really well. There are a lot of diverse quests and a nice story. The multiplayer may not be that good, but that is not at what the game is aiming at. By buying the Digital Deluxe edition you also get the main game - SpellForce 2, a digital map of the SpellForce world and an artbook. With all these additions, I would recommend the game to everyone, mustbuy if on sale!
