Great idea

This game certainly isn't for everyone but it does have some of the things that I like most about RPG. This game is about hiring heroes and sending them off on quests to get loot and experience. You can go and control what happens on the quest but as you get more and more heroes, you'll be sending more groups off do fight themselves while you concentrate on completing the major quest with your best 4 heroes. The graphics are fine (if youre okay with pixelated games), the music and sound is okay but it is well suited to the style of game. But it's the management that I really enjoy. As your heroes collect loot and experience, you can call them back from a quest to sort the loot, make necessary improvements to equipment and assign experience points. Yes, this game is quite repetitive but I've already played 15 hours and I'm still keen to play a lot more. For the price, I think this game is well worth it.

Not a good sim

This game has so many negatives, I cannot possibly recommend it as it is. First of all your most important gameplay mechanics are not explained in the tutorial, although it does take the time to explain unimportant things. You would need to read forums to realize just how important it is to upgrade your gear. And then the game starts leeching at your time for no reward whatsoever, you have to spend hours playing just to get a little progress done, and once you have achieved it, you are back to spending hours on the same thing again. There is management in the game, but it is clear that the developers of this game have missed one of the most important features of management games. And that is when you start a management game you will need to deal with a lot of small things, details and nonsense, which gradually gets automated later in a management game, leaving you with more of the fun stuff and less of the grunt work, i.e. micromanagement. But not in this game, you will need to micromanage hundreds of small tasks, throughout your gameplay, tedious, boring, unrewarding little tasks. As it is, this game lacks one of the defining aspects of any game, it is not fun to play, I do not recommend this game, there are excellent games on GMG with the same price tag, consider those instead.

Armannn has no idea what he's saying.

The fact he questioned a pixelated game being made today is a joke. Then running down the rest of the game because it's not in 1080P. Being that shallow about video games standards is a testament that some people can never be satisfied or have no idea what they are talking about. As for the game, it's a throwback game that anyone can pick up and play. It have interesting power ups, plenty of dungeons to go around, and treasures to be sought after. It can be a little be repetitive but it is an indie game after all.Pick it up and have fun.

Pixel-styled games in 2014... Really?

The title says pretty much everything. The game got released in early December, 2014. What first came to my attention is that release date. I mean, I understand that it's a 2D game, but seeing pixel-styled games in 2014/15 was a very strong hit to me. This little game has some fun moments which I appreciate, but overall, it's very odd and could have been much better. Next time, developers, try to at least not make it pixel-styled.

Fun little game

This is a fun little game to pick up. It can feel a little repetitive at times but it's a nice comfy game to play with some interesting power ups to keep gameplay interesting. If you're a fan of dungeon raiding games and seeking treasure then this is right up your street. Not bad for the price, but again it can be repetitive and not for those who get bored easily.
