In this game you'll need to find solutions to the puzzles, and help the Rats to execute their annihilation plans. Bad Rats is a physics puzzle game. The Objective changes every map, but it's basically to make an object (the key) to hit another (the target), using real physics principles, as the objects weight, building levers, paths and others.

This game is a cult game among the players, mostly due to the fact it isn't a good game at all, objectively. It can make you laugh, indeed, but lacks on the the main aspects of the gameplay side, even the physics ar terrible! In the end it could go for "it's so bad it's good" tag, all in all. See for yourself.
Bad Rats is a physics puzzle game and your mission is to use your rats to annihilate all cats. While it has a quite unique idea, to use rats with different abilities, it fails at almost everything else. The tutorial is very short but it explains enough to go on. The UI could have been better but is acceptable. The music is surprisingly quite good while the lack of variety and the rather bad sound effects lower the impression. Worst of all is the gameplay and it's what destroys every chance for this game to be at least okay. While the game wants to be a physics puzzle game it fails at implementing proper physics. You can rerun your contruction without changing anything and you will get different results. Placing objects is a pain and pixel-precise placement is required for some puzzles but almost impossible to be done. I really wanted to give this game a fair chance despite the bad things I have heard about it. It was boring in the beginning and got frustrating before I could even finish the easy puzzles. My advice: Stay away from this game. Score: Presentation: 10% Gameplay: 1% Visuals: 16% Sound: 48% Total: 19%
Bad Rats: The Rats' Revenge is a physics puzzle game, reminiscent of "The Incredible Machine". However, it is poorly executed, everything has a different outcome in spite of using the same setup, which makes the game suffer from some sort of fake difficulty, making the player rely on both luck and their own wits. Bad Rats' gameplay is simple: There's a cat in each level, which has to be the victim to a certain trap (Which varies on the level), to activate it, the player has to make a ball reach it. To move the ball, the player has to put rats with different functions in a certain setup. Graphics are cartoonish, and fit the game's setting and gameplay. The game's soundtrack fits the game as well. I have to add that the game, despite its flaws, is quite fun to play, and some interactions are hilarious to see. Buy it on sale.
I'm not kind of person who would love something while everyone hates it. I'm not kind of person who would hate something just because everybody is also hating this. I'm not kind of person who would make fun of game only because it's... bad. Like Bad Rats. It's rather poor made game. It's fit more for a flash game BUT... somehow we have almost no puzzle games with great graphics. Bad Rats isn't long game, isn't even so hard, but it is quite enjoyable for a puzzle game. For a low price like that, you could get it and have some fun. Don't expect much from it, but it's not so bad/great like everyone says. If you are hungry of puzzle games then maybe it will fill you at least a little.
Nothing about this game is unique, except for the rats. The gameplay and physics are highly unstable, and the art is something to be laughed at. (Not in a good way). On sale, you should DEFINITELY buy it because of how bad it is. You'll have something to laugh at any time of the day.
