Fun Game

This is a very rad couch gaming game. It's fun playing with friends and I'm pretty sure we'll end up playing many games. There is only one map/mode but Crewsaders still has some replayability since it's coop versus. There is no online and as I said before, only one map/mode, but for 2.99?, I'm not gonna complain. I met the team at a con and they were very nice and fun. I think they're still students and this is their first actual published game. Grab a handful of friends, add an AI in there (oh yeah! There are AIs that can fill a player slot too!) and go enjoy yourself.

Fun if you have the people and controllers for it

Crewsaders is a local co-op and competitive multiplayer game that has two teams each controlling a giant combat robot with players need to work different parts inside to have them fight. Robots have have a drill, missiles, and can fire a beam out of them to damage their opponents but they will also have to aim their drill, move a shield for defense, and can increase their speed to charge or to push the other robot back. There is more strategy involved due to the beams being able to cancel each other out, shields being able to bounce back missiles, and getting pushed back too far will run you into the spinning blades on both sides of the arena. Crewsaders is a fun and low priced game but you will need to have friends available to play it in a local setting and the controllers for it, it's unfortunate this isn't online because having people available to play at your house if difficult enough but having enough controllers that can all connect is even more difficult.

Enjoyable if you meet the criteria

Crewsaders provides players with multiple hours of fun through the execution of a simple yet original concept. The idea of having players control multiple characters that in turn control a massive robot has never been seen before as far as PC gaming goes. However, controllers are necessary for maximum enjoyment and functionality and another person is required to even play the game locally. If you are strictly a keyboard and mouse user, this game is not for you.

Fun, has potential

This is a very rad couch gaming game. It's a lot of fun playing with friends and I am pretty sure we'll end up playing many games. There is only one map/mode but Crewsaders still has some replayability since it's co-op versus. There is no online and as I said before, only one map/mode. Developers are quite young, I think this is their first game, but nevertheless it is not bad. Find some friends, or fill in the gap with AI bots if you're alone or missing a player. If it only had more modes and maps it'd be great, but for the price I think it's excellent.
