Game description

This is an Early Access Game

This means the game is still in active development, and can change drastically throughout development. The Early Access program will not only allow the player to enjoy the fantastic gameplay experience, but will also allow the player to make a real difference in how the game progresses.

The team will continue to create new features throughout the process. Those who choose to purchase the game should expect missing content, bugs, incomplete content and, potentially, game breaking problems.

House Party, in its concept and sense of humor, is inspired by the older adventure style games of the 80s and 90s like Leisure Suit Larry and Monkey Island, but it is rendered in a beautiful full-3D first-person context.

You start the game walking in the door of a House Party already in progress, and your goal is to try to play out to a variety of endings by completing various puzzles and smooth-talking. The game is unique in the sense that your actions dictate the gameplay and story direction heavily. Making certain choices in the game can either cut off or open up more options. You are faced with moral choices that yield different outcomes that drive the way the story unfolds.

In the game, you'll experience the usual debauchery found at these types of parties in the form of foul language, party games, nudity, fighting, sex, and more, and believe me, it doesn't pull any punches! Each character has their own personality, story and quests for the player. You can enjoy this alongside full immersive 3D gameplay, gorgeous models, and a very sarcastic and dry sense of humor. The AI is very robust, and the characters respond to a large number of stimuli and player choices. There are multiple story-paths and different outcomes based on your decisions.

The stories are customizable, and Eek! Games offers tools on their website to craft your own story including full dialogues, interactions, and logic dictating how the player's night goes and import it into your game. Users are already creating and sharing stories on the game's forum, and we are excited to see what the player community creates next!

We are wanting to offer early access. The game in its current state has plenty of game play available and comes with full immersive stories with the option to download new stories from the forum. As the game goes further into development, more official stories and forked story-lines will be worked on, and more content will be added to the game in the sense of what is available for the characters to do.

A mediocre adventure game with nudity.

This game really isn't worth the attention or hype it has received. It's essentially nothing more than a click-based sex simulator. You are at a stereotypical American house party, in which you converse with the most glaring stereotypes you could possibly think of for each person. The characters and story really aren't all that interesting. The whole "point" of the game is to get all of the female characters naked and have sex with them. This is a one man Indie project still in development, so it's not complete and there are bugs and glitches. There technically is a free trial version of the game somewhere, but I really wouldn't recommend buying the current version. Especially since it was pulled from Steam not too long ago, I'm not really sure how the support for this game via Steam is going to continue, if it can. You are probably better off just looking at videos of streams of the game, if you want to laugh at how terrible it is. Otherwise, save your money on a game far more deserving of your time.

Scandal Party

This game is as much of a Leisure Suit Larry and Monkey Island as screensaver is - you click to make it go away. There is not much to say about this game - it is really buggy early access game with no story or puzzles to begin with. It was about one thing only, getting R rated content and this game was preying on that and scandal around it was what made it popular. Now it is gone because of it, so the only thing making it worth it (couple of laughs and maybe few minutes of your blood pressure getting higher) is gone. Now what's left is bad voice-acting and overall bad game. Stay away from it or if you really have to pick it up, wait for some bundle, because it will land there.

Sims for adults.

House Party is perhaps the most controversial game on Steam right now that was taken down for a few days due to its mature content but now it is back again. It is still in early access but there is something in this game that can entertain. The gameplay is very simple and can be described as a point and click with RPG elements. If you are hungry for a decent pickup simulator than why not.
