Fun twin stick shooter with a variety of weapons and upgrades

NeuroVoider is a futuristic twin stick shooter that has you fighting against an army of robots that has recently left early access. When the game starts you will choose a class, with each one having different weapons and abilities that can include a shield, ability to dash through enemy bullets, or an ability to give you more firepower and mobility. After choosing a class you can choose from a wide variety of skills to further customize your character to your playstyle. These skills might help you resist damage when you do certain things, teleport you, heal you, etc. You will then be given three random levels to pick from that have different values assigned to size, enemies, and loot and you will choose one of the three to play. Using attacks in a battle will lower your EP which will quickly recharge by itself over time, it's not something that will slow down the action much but you can't just hold down the trigger. Picking up loot allows you to change the legs, torso, vision, and weapons of your robot in between levels, and as a very nice touch they let you test out the weapons in a small window that shows how they shot and how much energy they use. You can change your class in between levels if you have an appropriate core and scrap that you get from enemies can be used to increase the stats of your equipment or it can be used to craft random items. Graphics and music are good and fit well with the genre, there are some nice touches in the art design, such as an angry face appearing over your robot when you use the rampage ability of one of the classes. You will likely want to use a controller for this game and the level design isn't very interesting. It's a fun twin stick shooter with a lot of options to customize your character.

Very good and challenging rogue-lite.

Very fun and really intense. It's rare to find a game with this sense of humour, customisation, this insane combat and also a game that is really good on top of that. Fighting off different enemies, choosing which level to go to (some have more loot but are larger, while some are small but will have harder fights) and the different loot drops you'll find make it another enjoyable rogue-lite experience in the sea of rogue-lites. Music is good, style is good... one thing not necessarily good is the probability there is you'll have to rest your fingers after playing this for a while! But let's say it's also good, it brings part of the challenge.

Nuclear Throne + RPG + Robots = Awesome

An all-around amazing twin-stick roguelite game. 3 difficulty settings. You explore randomly generated worlds and kill robots/destroy reactors. The fun part lies in the RPG equipment system where robots and other caches drop items, which you can use to enhance your robot. Highly recommended, especially if you love games like Nuclear Throne and Enter the Gungeon, but want a slightly different take on it in terms of the RPG elements. I almost forgot, this has local co-op for up to 4 players, so...grab some friends and give it a shot!
