My grandmother, Aras and I were living in an old house when I was a kid.
This weird house which we lived with our grandmother for long years was located in a narrow street and it has all of our memories. Some nights, there was just pure silence in the house. Happenings that we couldn't explain would occur in those nights, objects would change places frequently, and sometimes we would feel something passing by the door. One day, when I was passing by my grandmother's room, I noticed a small chest.
I reached for it but my grandmother got angry and hit my hand.
I had never seen my grandmother that angry before. And I never saw that chest again.

Higher production values than most games of this style

No70 Eye of Basir is a first person puzzle game with some horror elements. The production value is better than most games of this style with some decent looking environments, music, and voice acting, but what hurts the game is telling the story through notes like many of the games in this genre, both a dull way to tell a story and one that ends up being disappointing. Gameplay consists of solving simple puzzles and finding objects that can be used on other objects, the game requires backtracking and they have an annoying system where certain things need to be interacted with before you are allowed to interact with other objects, even if you know what you need to do to progress the game. Low priced but a mostly mediocre title even when it does do better than other cheap titles in this genre.

In the Eye of the Beholder

No70: Eye of Basir was a spooky little game that I tried a while ago, and I would recommend trying it yourself. The dull colours combined with the dark atmosphere give this game an eerie tone that helps to build up the psychological horror. The puzzles are not easy, but at the same time not difficult enough to make you quit the game. Finally, the music score is one that blends nicely with the atmosphere to send shivers down your spine. With a paranormal theme to boot, this game is certainly one that will have you questioning your sanity by the end.
