Bully Scholarship Edition
Bully: Scholarship Edition takes place at the fictional New England boarding school, Bullworth Academy and tells the story of mischievous 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins as he goes through the hilarity and awkwardness of adolescence. Beat the jocks at dodge ball, play pranks on the preppies, save the nerds, kiss the girl and ultimately navigate the social hierarchy in the worst school around.
Story – Scholarship Edition brings together all of the clichés surrounding school, the cliques, the teachers, the pranks and creates an environment which is hilarious to play and interesting to explore.
Variety – With 82 missions, 45 lessons, loads of mini games and collectibles, Bully provides over 30 hours of entertainment.
Pranks – Spread the mischief. Use your slingshot to annoy the school mascot, give the preppies wedgies, leave a stink bomb in the cheerleader’s locker, trip the prefects on well placed marbles, drop firecrackers in the toilets and own the school.
Characters – Over 100 voiced characters to socially interact with among several social groups; jocks, nerds, preppies, greasers, teachers, townies, carnies and of course girls.
Choice – You’re in charge. Decide whether you have a positive or negative effect when interacting or accepting missions; you can say hello to fellow classmates or deliver mean wedgies. Even decide which girls you want to kiss or what classes to skip.
Music – Original score creates a dynamic atmosphere that compliments the schoolyard experience seamlessly.
This bundle is excellent - not only there are great games, but also it is great value for your money. Max Payne trilogy is a classic, all excellent games - while the first one may feel outdated visually, gameplay and sound are still great and unmatched to this very day. Max Payne 2 may be the weakest of the bunch, but it still has the same great shooting gameplay with the plot taking some dark turns (not as dark as the first game, though). Max Payne 3, in my opinion, is the best in the series - while the story might not feel as noir as in the first game, it is the perfect blend of an action movie with gameplay. That's what cinematic experience should aim for - awesome action set-pieces with awesome graphics, sound and incredible gameplay. The game is also pretty long, it can take up to 20 hours, and if you want to find everything, the playtime could at least double. The only thing that sucks about it is multiplayer, which is incredibly meh. LA Noire is pretty solid detective game, but it has somewhat identity crisis - open world is pretty worthless and uninteresting, the shooting is rather average, but what saves it are the amazing graphics - motion capture of the faces is simply breathtaking, although shame it is buggy and some of the clues feel like Dick Tracy NES inspired, completely out of the left field or useless. Still, the story makes this game worth playing, because the atmosphere really makes you feel like a detective. GTA IV is somewhat black sheep of the series, mostly because the protagonist is boring and lacks charisma and humour of previous "heroes" in the series. What makes this pack worth it are the DLC, both are amazing and just as great as Vice City. Bully is basically GTA in school, but what sucks about it is the optimisation or rather PC version - it has 30fps lock and on newer desktops, it looks awful. Great game, but it is recommended to plug the PC to TV to make it more pleasant experience. Overall, 6 really great games for the price of one. I can't recommend it enough. Just get it and enjoy it, you will spend really good time (hundreds of hours) with it.
