You should know what to expect by now

A Twist of Fate is the third and (as of now) final entry in the Runaway franchise. It more or less picks up from where The Dream of the Turtle left off (though some of the connections are not 100% clear to me), and brings its storyline to a proper conclusion. The gameplay hasn't changed much from TDotT or even A Road Adventure: classic point and click gameplay with challenging puzzles and an interesting plot to keep you going. There's a built-in hint system, but I suggest you refrain from using it as it may become too tempting, even when you're stuck for a few minutes. The art is as good as in the previous Runaway games, with a crispy style and detailed environments. I found A Twist of Fate a bit easier than the first two titles in the series. I'm not sure whether this is related to my getting used to the Pendulo logic or having played a ton of other adventure games between TDotT and this, rather than AToF being actually easier to tackle. Nevertheless, A Twist of Fate is still a challenging adventure game, and its length is definitely comparable to that of its predecessors. Overall, if you liked the humor and style of the first two Runaway games you won't be disappointed by A Twist of Fate. It's a good thing that developers such as Pendulo Studios are keeping traditional point and click adventures alive.
