Accurately described as an FPS Hotline Miami

Legolas_Katarn

Season's Beatings is accurately described by the developer as a first person Hotline Miami when it comes to gameplay. Each level starts you in an elevator with the goal of killing everything on that floor while picking up weapons dropped by your enemies or found lying around. You often start with a bat which might kill in one hit or just knock an enemy down, knives can be picked up as well as other melee weapons as you progress and guns like pistols and shotguns will have a few shots in them. Like Hotline Miami or Superhot one hit will kill you and you can throw your equipped weapons at an enemy to kill them, you can also dive into enemies or through windows. It's a fun fast paced game, price can be a little high with the dull graphics and lack of story or variety though.

For the lols.

Well, if you didn't notice, Season's Beatings is the game made for laughs and developer is self-aware. So basically, what this game is is just Hotline Miami clone, only "funnier", because of the christmas theme. Like in Hotline Miami, you die in one hit and when you die, you restart the stage. This game is all about memorisation, problem with that is how you view the game - since it is first person shooter, you won't see entirity of the stage or what is actually just around the corner, meaning it is an endurance round of sheer annoyance and you timing everything perfectly. Graphics and sound are meh, but it's hard to expect anything from the game of this caliber. Overall, not that bad, but you can play any other game instead.

Are you ready for some real shooting!

Season's Beatings as the game's description says is indeed Hotline Miami with first person view and It's just lovely, fast paced and super fun! the gameplay is really fast paced and the musics even makes it more fun and entertaining, there's varied weapons at your disposal to kill enemies who try to kill you if you are not fast enough to take them down sooner, and among them my Shotgun is my favorite one! the level design is really impressive and there's lots of places you need to check for enemies and they could be lurking every corner on the map. and the realistic and most fun thing about this game is when you ran out of bullets and you can throw you weapons to kill enemies and after that you get a deadly bat to smash them with. Season's Beatings is a great Hotline Miami inspired title and I recommend it to all fast paced FPS fans!
