Game description

This Super Deluxe Edition contains the Game, Soundtrack and Artbook.

From the studio that brought you Master Reboot comes a first-person story-driven puzzle game, set in the beautiful, haunting cyber-world of Elysia. Collect unique hand powers, discover multiple endings and choose your own destiny as you unravel the mystery of your digital afterlife.

Explore Soul Axiom’s rich environments and immersive story to unravel the mystery of your life, and your digital afterlife. You will be taken on an intriguing voyage of discovery, through beautiful, haunting locations, facing challenges that will lead you into danger on your mission to unlock your identity, your story, your mystery. But beware: some mysteries are better left unsolved.

Take your first steps to paradise by uploading your soul to Elysia, named by critics as “the single most important development in the history of the human race” (Era Magazine, 2027). As the latest state of the art Digital Soul Provider, Elysia is a sprawling server where your memories and dreams become reality. Our patented SoulSync system allows you to choose the memories you want to enjoy for eternity; whether you are a living user or you simply wish to leave a lasting testament of your life that the whole family can relive at their leisure. In Elysia, death has no dominion. In Elysia, life has no boundaries. Cast off your mortal shackles and discover the secret to immortality in your digital afterlife. Discover Elysia. Then, now and forever.

When you begin the game you are free falling through a storm. Lightning sporadically illuminates the sky, showing brief, vivid flashes of memories. Your memories. You struggle to take a breath as you plummet, out of control, into the eye of the storm, towards your certain death. Squinting, eyelashes battling the rain, you catch a glimpse of a large object that you are hurtling towards. You brace yourself for impact, for death, confused and terrified and –

You are on the deck of a ship, rain pummelling the wooden boards around you. You look up to see four shadowy figures on the bridge, gazing into the distance, with an old man at the helm.

Key Features:

  • Psychological Adventure with Exploration & Puzzle elements: Interact with cryptic logic puzzles, make psychological decisions and explore memories to unlock the secrets of your identity.

  • Harness the abilities of Elysia: Discover new powers that will assist exploration and puzzle solving by phasing, building, destroying or corrupting.

  • Unique visual style: There is a beautifully simplistic emphasis on striking shapes, strong colors, and beautiful effects and lighting to elicit a variety of emotions within The Elysia.

  • Compelling storyline: A tense, but thought-provoking narrative with multiple outcomes, and leaves you yearning to explore all avenues of the lore.

  • Dynamic adaptive environments: Use your abilities to manipulate your surrounding environments. Collect your powers and re-visit memories to unlock previously hidden areas.

  • Packed full of content: With 6 chapters consisting of around 40 unique locations, expect between 8-12 hours of thrilling gameplay with the full release.

Beatufil, polished, very original and with decent flow. Love it!

I played this last year, when I bought it I had my hesitations, I got it as it was on sale and looked sort of promising, but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was really enjoyable. The art style is futuristic and pleasing to the eye, as well as having a lot of different environments to explore. The puzzles were fun to solve and at times I found a few pretty difficult, which to me is good because when I did solve them I felt a sense of accomplishment. The storyline was interesting, It wasn't super clear to begin with, but unlocking more 'bits' to the story with each level was a nice touch as you get hints of what could happen. It intrigued me enough to make me want to continue playing it to the end, so it has a thumbs up from me.

Intriguing at first.

Soul Axiom: Super Deluxe Edition is an intriguing game, well at leat at first. You are going through an unknown world, solving puzzles, and over time you learn more and more about basically everything around you. Riddles mainly consists on splitting objects and merging them back into one. And it is good at the beginning but after few hours have passed I felt tired as nothing new was introduced.

Great edition for not that bad of a game

While Soul Axiom is troubled by the same things Master Reboot was, being wasted potential for a great story to tell and simple puzzles. The ride itself is good, but when it ends, you are overwhelmed by how uninspired execution of this great idea (of afterlife being nothing more than internet - there could be so much done here!). Art direction and soundtrack are top notch, though, which is a shame. With this edition comes OST, which is a good listening and really good, full to the brim full of content art book that is 170 pages long! Personally, to me there is no "deluxe" edition without artbook, and this one is great and it delivers, since art direction in this game is great and you can feel the atmosphere from the artwork. Overall, if you want to experience this game and will like what you see on screenshots, pick this edition, since artbook is really good watch and soundtrack will glue you to your speakers for some hours. Recommended.
