Star Wars Knights of the old Republic or otherwise known as Star Wars KOTOR is my favorite Star Wars game and probably one of my favorite RPG's I've played. You as the player chooses what class you want to play as between the soldier, scout or the scoundrel each class are better on some skills then the other. You control up to three character in your squad/party and you can choose between 9 different squad/party members There is also some characters you can romance.
KOTOR is one of the best games ever. I loved as a child and few days ago I played it again and i still love it. Game is old so it's not easy to launch it at new computers but there are tutorials how to do it. Graphic still looks well, dialogues are smart and witty. World is like in the movies. You can see jawas, wookies and many others. I think that everyone should play that and i hope for remaster.
Knights of the Old Republic is one of the better role-playing games out there and in my opinion is the best Star Wars game ever created. The story, soundtrack and voice acting are all very well done. You can dual wield lightsabers or use the double sided lightsaber but what if you don't want to use a lightsaber? Well that is fine because there are plenty of regular melee weapons and ranged weapons to choose from. Its worth mentioning the fact that you don't need to know anything about Star Wars to enjoy this game. When playing this you will probably run into a few bugs or glitches but don't worry because there are simple fixes available that will solve all of the major issues. Turning V-Sync on for this game is recommended because it fixes a bug that prevents you from moving after combat. I didn't run into any other game breaking bugs after turning V-Sync on.
Was a fun game even though it is very old...reminded me so much of the Mass Effect games, also from Bioware. The story was captivating and the dialogue was catchy. The character options are fun to choose from and having companions make it more engaging... All in all a fun and solid game for you star wars fans.
Easily one of Bioware's best PC RPG's. Still stands the test of time today, and has a great amount of replayability. Lots of characters and personalities, and a great story to boot with, back then, one of the best plot twists in gaming. The only flaws I could even think to mention are that there are too few force powers that are of any real use, and the light side has a mildly disappointing lack of any real combat oriented force powers. That being said, the game overall is one of my favorites, easily in my top 10 all-time. I highly encourage anyone who hasn't tried it yet to get it if you have even the slightest interest in rpg's or in star wars.
