This is a great game, though the graphics may be a little dated for some, though I personally think they are still pretty cool. The story is awesome and gameplay is really easy to get into, but even though all of that earns the game 5 stars in my book, it would still have 5 stars because of one thing...HK-47. YES! That HK-47! The best droid ever created in the saga that is Star Wars. At this price, it is a must have!
Kotor is hard to write about, because this is one of the games that had to be experienced. The graphics are pretty dated, and didn't look that good when it came out in the first place, yet it does it's job, and where it counts it delivers. The lighsabers look amazing, and makes you want to own one even more in real life. There isn't really much variety in character models. Barely any for humans, and zero for aliens, but it's only apparent in a few occasions. On the other hand the cinematics still look pretty good! The sounds are just awesome. It's exactly like in the movie. The music of John Williams will always be the best! :D The gameplay is also dated, but works fine. After a few minutes you will handle it like a pro. Some of the battles are really tough. Really really tough! Especially Darth Malak in the end! The only star wars villain that took me more tries to beat were the emperor himself in the force unleashed! The story is awesome! The whole thing! There are a great many well written side stories, that are pretty enjoyable, and the main plot, oh my god! So, if you like games, that are almost perfect, you should try this :)
A brand such as Star Wars has long deserved real RPGs, not to mention expanding the already rich world. This "problem" was taken care of by veterans of the genre, namely Canadian studio called BioWare responsible among others for amazing Baldur's Gate. The game is set 4000 years before the events of the famous George Lucas film. It is the times when the powerful Sith nations threaten the galactic peace and the Republic, greatly undermined by the recent Mandalorian Wars. An amazing game worth checking out.
Star Wars Knights of the old Republic or otherwise known as Star Wars KOTOR is my favorite Star Wars game and probably one of my favorite RPG's I've played. You as the player chooses what class you want to play as between the soldier, scout or the scoundrel each class are better on some skills then the other. You control up to three character in your squad/party and you can choose between 9 different squad/party members There is also some characters you can romance.
KOTOR is one of the best games ever. I loved as a child and few days ago I played it again and i still love it. Game is old so it's not easy to launch it at new computers but there are tutorials how to do it. Graphic still looks well, dialogues are smart and witty. World is like in the movies. You can see jawas, wookies and many others. I think that everyone should play that and i hope for remaster.
