Still Not Dead combines frantic action with tactical choice and unique mechanics not seen anywhere else in the genre. Its fast and easy to jump in and start shredding hordes - with depth and variation that reveals itself the deeper into the experience you go. What are you waiting for? Grab your shotgun, axe, barbwire, and prove that you're STILL. NOT. DEAD.
Still Not Dead is an interesting shooter with roguelike elements that help to make this title interesting. It offers a great number of weapons to mess around with. Just keep in mind it is not a mindless shooter where you storm to the goal, you need to strategize your path and manage your resources. Great game for people how enjoyed such titles like Strafe or Heavy Bullets.
If you remember recently released game STRAFE and liked it, this one will be right up your alley. It is also rogue-like FPS game with graphics being a mix of Minecraft and some nice sprite-work, although enemies look rather bad, but there is something amusing about it, making it a good mix. Shooting is fine, but nothing amazing, really, and since this game is in EARLY ACCESS (something that GMG forgot to mention - I hope you will fix it, guys, because it is important information!) it is hard to complain about lack of polish and touch. Maps are destructible, which is nice and cool feature, but for now the maps feel rather boring - huge, but not much to do other than kill enemies. It gets old fast. Overall, for now, it is hard to recommend it, because there is not much to this game. However, it shows a lot of promise and if developers will take this idea in the right direction, we might have some nice old-school inspired shooter that we all loved back in the day and miss nowadays. Have it on your radar and check it out from time to time, because it might be a hit. For now, it is too shallow to recommend it.
