An impressive effort for a one man team

The Seven Years War (1756 - 1763) is a strategy game where you will need to manage your nations resources while also fighting battles, the game was developed by one person, Oliver Keppelmueller. You can either play the campaign or choose from six historic battles to fight. During a normal campaign you will have to manage your cities, build new buildings, and set up production and supply lines for your army on both land and sea. Battles are fought in a more Total War style where you will move you divisions or units around maps by setting attack commands or waypoints, with the goal being to kill your enemy or to hold strategic points. There are a few bugs and performance issues, people have run into memory issues that cause the game to crash, and the text was somewhat difficult to read when I played the game but it has been updated since and the developer continues to make updates to improve the game. The UI itself is not the best and the graphics and map are not very interesting to look at and are quite poor in battle. It is an impressive effort for one person, there are a lot of good ideas, and it is still being improved on but there are better strategy games that you can buy for the current price.
